I am trying to make my own homemade cool hood, i was wondering if there is any input on this i have a reflector now i was going to take a piece of glass i got out of a picture frame and bend up the ends on the reflector and 2 way tape the glass to the inside lip were i bent it, then add 2 cardboard sides and but holes in them for ventilation the glass i have is 2mm thick is that to thin or will it brake from the heat?

As long as the glass is tempered i think you'll be ok, but is cardboard the best choice if heat is an issue? Not trying to be a Negative Nancy but a fire would suck. Then again i can't see your set up so I may well be talking out my ass. Good luck.
well so far so damn good its dropped 6C it aint tempered glass but it has been on for 2 and a half hours and never broke yet working like a charm
they are very happy
