It works and its way easier to get pics if you do want them because of the image stabilizers built into camers now.

Just make sure you get the highest magnification loupe you can find, may get pricey but it'll last forever. Good ones come with leds built in too so you can get light on what your are magnifying. My 12x isnt enough without more magnification which is why i use it with my phone

I have one of those cheap handheld microscopes too. I wonder if I can use it with my phone?

Maybe. I just like my method because I can share and its way easier than trying to hold something still that basically focused on stuff the size of a pinhead

Didn’t work. The picture was the size of a nickel.

A lot of those microscopes don’t work with android. It’s to do with android hardware. They work on some depending on the scope. Hook it up to another phone
