Learn correct notation, my friend.
pH is a mathematical description.
pH 6.9 actually reads the negative logarithm of the proton concentration is 6.9.
So
pH = -log[H+]
Then you can do the rest of the math yourself.
PH 6.9 means nothing.... Wrong notatio annoys me....

Sure...mistakes in grammar also hurts eyes and I try my best.
But it is true, errors in scientific notations hurts my eyes. I just thaught youngsters to write chemical formulas. It is not that easy until you understand the method.
It is all good, but it should be pH. Sorry, but it is a permanent environmental damage from beeing a lab rat for too long.
