I was just wondering what some suggestions are on trimming some of the lower branches where "air" buds grow. I have a la divaa and a cobra that are 40 days old and I decided to go ahead and cut off a couple branches that aren't doing much so the plant can focus on the main buds. What does the experts think about this? I know it's recommended for photosensitive plants but what about autos????

i dont like to trim autos atall as it stunts them and you dont have the extra time to heal with autos like you do with photos :2cents:

I remove some of the lower leaves, especially any that are touching the soil, and any small popcorn buds in close to the main stalk. Those popcorn buds usually don't amount to much anyway. I do this mainly for ease in watering and to provide better air circulation.

Thanks for the advice muddy. Thats pretty much all I did, I only cut a few leaves and tiny branches toward the bottom.

You should be fine then.
