New Grower Too much light???

Too much light can be very harmful to them, especially as seedlings. Even if there isnt alot of heat. You would notice whats called light bleaching where the leaves turn pale. Then go yellow/brown and crispy. Probably more commonly happens a large plant in flower where the growee has no more room to lift the light and the buds turn totally white.
It can also effect their nutrient uptake

Cheers Sang, my little ones are starting out in a corner about 1.2m from the LED just pondering the effects.....

If you see this, it's to much light.

Just means you need better cooling. If I don't have enough air movement or I have the fan not pointed in the correct spot this happens to me too.

I start under my 600W HPS. I put my light about 24" above the plant but its not for the heat. Its because if I put the light too close than the plant grows so squat the lower leaves sit on the soil and I have to pull quiet a few off because they end up damaged from me watering. I have to pull a few anyways for this but if I go closer its a real problem. I cant say with LED but with CFL lights I would put them inches away, like 3" away and this was only for insurance as I just wanted it far enough so the plant did not grow in to the light while I was away. I have light bleached my plants though like millertm says but only in flower and it was with the light at 12" away under my 600HPS and it took about 1 week to start showing signs. If I was using an LED I would play with light height tell you got the stretch you were after. I had a friend that was borrowing a 250 black dog from some one and I believe he was starting at 8" to 10" but it was in an open room in the middle of a spare bed room because like me he never uses a grow tent.

Cheers for the response fella's, I was a bit (a lot) open with the question! I may not have a problem it might just be my impatience but here is the story so far.
I have a DP Blue Mazar at day 27 and it looks really healthy but it's only 160mm tall. It's under a Budmaster 450, 270w draw at 1.1m due to other plants in my space. Budmaster recommend the light is kept at the top of the tent from start to finish but to run it at half power while the plant develops. I couldn't do this as my Mazar's are nearing the end so it's been on full power so really I was wondering if the light intensity could be keeping it down. It certainly looks to be getting enough as it's not stretching for the light also it could be about to explode any day!
My lack of patience is renowned so this is one hobby that will seriously test it

No, tent never sees temps over 78. Cooling is fine just to close. My 1k was showing this at 18 inches I am now at 24 inches. Those few inches make a difference.

It is on pace for a healthy 27 day old plant. It has been developing branches and roots instead of chasing the light. That is key to a high yield. It needs to develop all that structure. It will take off when it is ready to. It will finish at 8x that height, if not taller.

Autos stretch and grow as they bloom. They are all about the last couple weeks. Just wait until you are getting 1-3 inches of growth every day.

Cheers @Hal 8999 she has got a great structure and the bottom of the airpot is covered in root, just needed some encouragement
