Hey AFN I am back and needing help here. As the title says my wife is wanting a vape. Her enjoyment of our plants are harsh on her throat, she has never smoked anything at all. I do make edibles for her,but she keeps asking about a vapor. Any thoughts good or bad.thanks

the only time I will be easy is when I'm killed by death

I became a fan of vaping 1 1/2 years ago. it was a very good decision! You've never known what your weed truly tastes like till you've vape! My lady and I both vape 90% of the time. If all you want is a home unit, the Arizer Extreme Q is an excellent choice and affordable compared to a volcano.

I've tested many of the top portable units and my favorites are:
1. DaVinci Ascent
2. Davinci
3. The Mighty
4.V2 Pro Series 7

My opinion of the Pax and Pax2 are they are an utter waste of money. See my review for my reasoning

The DaVinci Ascent has a large chamer, and interesting all glass airpath, adjustable temperatures, and even custom temperature profiles!
By adjusting temp, you con control the size and strength of the hit. I find 385F to work well

post any other questions, lots of us here are vaping!

All the vapes I mentioned will to waxes also, and some can even do oils!

I've learned my lesson on buying...... buying direct is always best. Here's a link to Davinci:

I have been using the Herbalaire vaporizer for many years. I slightly modify it to allow for bigger hits by using 5/8" surgical/food tubing. The important aspect of vaping for the wife will be finding the right vaping temperature along with introduction of hard candy while she imbibes. Coat the throat! I also have the Pax for concerts etc. I have to take many short hits to match the one hit I receive from the Herbalaire. I like the Herbalaire a lot. It has served me well.

Honestly, I've been using the GPEN Elite for 2 months or so now and it's about the best pen I have used. I had the PAX2, but it wasn't giving me the taste that the buds had. So to make a long story short, GPEN Elite is awesome, great taste, quick heat up time, and LONG LASTING battery =)
All this for $170 USD
