could also just be a different pheno. i have 7 mi5's running right now, and there is one who is just a straight up runt. it still is flowering beautifully, but it is perhaps half the size of the other plants next to her. so maybe you just happened to get a mediocre seed. it looks totally healthy, just small. i would lean towards nature as opposed to nurture being the issue presenting itself here.

Day 37

Just some updated pics, things are looking better, getting some new growth and the leaves that were yellowing and turning brown haven't gotten much worse so I think the nutes are doing the trick but I'll keep my eye on it and keep you all posted. Still not flowering but hopefully soon because she's a little behind schedule.

hrmmm almost 40 days and no sign of sex? flowering has not induced @ all? almost looks like to me, and my past failures that either that cab is too hot, or the lights are way to close to the plants and are burning up the leaves. looks like browning, discoloration and appears the leaves are getting crispy and brittle, seems to me to be a heat problem. i too will be facing these issues with my up coming grow project. cfls and heat usually an issue for me, as long as the heat can be controlled though, cfls perform just fine. good luck and i will keep posted and following this grow through till the end.

Yea my grow box was way too hot for the first couple weeks, in the 90's... rookie mistake, since then I've just taken the front door off the box to allow maximum ventilation and also cranked up the fan and it's sitting around in the low 80's now so it seems to be responding well...I just hope it's not too late to salvage something out of it. I'm growing in a closet so taking the door off the box doesn't make a big deal, not losing anything really and stealth is of no concern because I live alone. Thanks for the responses and hopefully she pulls through and yields an 8th or so...I was originally hoping for an OZ but doesn't look like that will happen. If nothing else I've gained some great experience for my next grow. I'm gonna try growing a non autoflower next, sativa bank black berry or holy grail 69... anyone have any experience with either of those strains?

I got holy grail as a freebie all my other seeds had no probs except holy g...it wasnt in my cards to grow it lol

Samsara Thunder Bloody Mary = Mazar x Wh. Dwarf (short compact ind). Sez it will get over a foot tall 65-70 days. My guess 7-9".
Light right now 24/0? Will probably start growth spurt getting pH, temp copacetic.

Day 38

Looking way better and after getting the temp down, getting the ph under control and changing up the spectrum my girl is finally thriving. Up to 6 inches today and really starting to show GREAT growth. Here are some pics. @desertnance thanks and you seem to be right, I bet she's gonna blow up over the next week. Keep the comments coming, you guys have helped me more than you know! my dreams of an oz are still alive, haha...we'll see

she starting to look better man! glad to see that. we all make mistakes our first time round, with each and every grow, and different strains you work with you will be learning, every day is a learning experience lol. i destroyed my first three out door grow 10 years ago and since then, things have been gr8t. your lady is greening up nicely in the new pics, and since you have taken care of all the issues from here on out it should be easy sailing. looking forward to seeing the final outcome.
