Hey folks, first time posting here. I have three plants just started on Feb 1 2020. One of them (girl scout cookie) is doing great! Two others are not doing as well. All three are planted in 5gal smart pots with Kindsoil and loco coco. The pictures below show the difference. The healthy one is the GSC and the sick one is Jack Herer. I have two Jack Herer's and they both look sick like this one. Lights are one Optic 1XL and one Phantom 1XL in 2.5 x 7 grow room. Thanks for your input!

heya @Groundhog and :welcome: to afn! :toke: could be signz of overwatering perhapz-? lil seedlingz don't need a lot at that age, like mebbe 1 oz per day, with soil mistingz in between...and make sure to water in a ring, away from the stem...that way, the lil rootz are forced to seek out the water for themselvez, and thus, grow :smokeit: ;) otherwize, they get waterlogged/suffocated, and -> don't grow, and that'z no beuno :nono: jus a tip & anything else u need, jus give a holler

ppp & :goodluck:

Today is February 5th on my calendar.. And there isn't much you can do in 5 days to cause that type of issue. Sometimes we just get bad seeds and sick plants. I can't say there is anything that you did or didn't do to cause it. Since both plants with issues are both jack herer, which Im sure are from the same breeder and out of the same pack, I'm leaning towards a seed issue with that strain or batch. You can try to wait it out and see how they turn out or if they grow out of the issue.. But you can see that compared to the gsc that it's already stunted.

Hey 420, thanks for the welcome! This is my second grow with kindsoil and per their instructions I am only watering every five days. Both the GSC and Jack HQ received the same amount of water and also were started in the same way. I instinctively want to water more but have decided to stay with their suggested watering cycle of every 5 to 7 days.

I think you might be right. It's the only thing I can think of. I did look at some photos of sick plants and it kind of looks similar to magnesium deficiency but I don't know. I think I'm going to stick it out and see what they look like in a week or so. Thanks for your input!
