I accidentally tore off one of the cotyledon…assumed it was dead, left it in the 3 gallon pot it was in but then noticed it’s leaves grew a little.
1st pic yesterday 7:30pm
2nd pic today @ 7:00pm

Anything I can do to help her? It’s the 2nd to last Sour Stomper I have..

Thanks

I’ve lost a few seedling like this by them coming up with seed still attached, Could the chunky soil explain that I wonder? It is a blend of OF & HF w/ compost etc…I think the chunks came from the Fox Farm stuff, I didn’t know i should had picked through first.

Like Tom says cut the bottom off a water bottle, unscrew the lid and put it over her, then a big dose of LITFA and it should be ok. And I use HF straight out of the bag with no problems.

I don't think you have a problem. That looks like good progress for 24hrs. I use a FFOF,HF, perlite mix and it has the same texture. When your seedling is two weeks old, your medium won't look chunky at all. One thing I do differently is to germinate in peat pellets, then transfer to final pot a day or two after sprout. Just what works for me.

If you got the time give it a few days at least.
