Fist time growing autos and I set up a small grow room in my basement. I wired it to a light and for the first 3 weeks Everytime I turned the basement switch off my light would go out they were getting maybe 2 hours of light a day. Dumb ass rookie move I know. They didn't grow much needless to say but for the last 2 weeks they have done great. I thought I would see signs of flowering by now but haven't. Do the think the cycle could have been thrown off? Not even white hairs yet. Will they still flower?

so your 5 weeks in right now ? im guessing they will still flower but that they have just been stunted due to the lack of light if you want make a post in here fill out the patient form and someone with more experience will help you out

Planted my first autoflowers around May 1st. Had my power hooked to a light and didn't realize that whenever I turned off my basement switch the light went out! They lived in about 3 hours of light a day for 4 or more weeks! Now that I fixed it it has been almost 3 weeks and they look great but I expected to see them show signs of flowering even though they are small. So they are about 7 weeks now. No pre flower hairs will these little girls still flower? Did the lack of light just set them back or are they a lost cause?

That's funny, but these things happen :)

Give then a few more weeks and if they don't show signs of preflowers then switch to 12/12. Done varieties take longer than others. I am growing a bunch of different ones myself right now and 3/4 have had preflowers for weeks, but they all start at different times.

You may have affected yours, but give them time. These plants are tough.

Most of the strains I've tried autoflower during the 6th week.
As Stoney points out, the lack of light might've stressed and slowed them.

3 hours light per day and they still look pretty damn good. Another reason to love the autoflower. Good luck with the 12/12. Hope they pop buds for you soon.

:toke: yup, delayed, but they will flower soon, the clock is always running,.... I'm surprised they got as large as they did with only 2 hours of light! Be ready to start bloom nutes when they do, otherwise, no need to fill out the from this time,....

They only got that size after I fixed the lighting issue about 3 weeks ago. What is a good nutrients for autos? I have heard they don't take nutes very well?

If it was me I would leave the light on 24/7 and see what you can get out of them
