Hey AFN, I am taking the plunge into Organic growing. I am germinating all my seeds right now. Most have cracked open so I just placed them into paper towels over a heating mat. Once I start them out and I am able to clone them I will be starting to sex the Ghost Train Haze out. I have never grown regular seeds usually fem seeds. The auto's I am running are Critical Jack Herer and Northern Lights Blue, both have cracked open and will most likely be planted into 3 gallon pots tomorrow. I am running 5 Rare Dankness regular Vale Vale and 12 Ghost Train Haze #1. These will be later on because I need to clone them then sex them and pick out my keeper pheno's. I have 5 fem Humboldt Green Crack, 6 fem Reserva Privada Sour Kush ''Headband'' , 1 Delicious seeds fem. Cotton Candy and 1 Sugar Black Rose, then 1 World of Seeds Diamond line Obsession. I may use these single seeds as mothers or take a few clones before I flip them.

OK. now for the Organic part. I will be running Sunshine #4 soiless mix and amending it with Kelp, worm castings and a few others. I am feeding them with compost tea made from PooGuy's tea mixtures. This shit and when I say shit I mean shit haha stinks like hell. I an make 200 gallons of tea with 1 $35 bag. I bought a 50 gallon drum kit from them but will only make 25 at a time but it came with air pump, wands, bags and their Grow, Transition and Bloom mixes. When I brew the tea I will add non-sulfured molasses, compost starter, Kelp and I was told to go out into the woods and scrape away leaves and dig up the top few inches of soil and add that because of the natural bacteria that lays on the forest floor. I am not sure I will both to do that but we will see. I know I always preach about fabric Smart Pots but because I am running so many at once I am using plastic pots and will keep my mothers in the fabric pots.

This next grow will also include a 4 site RDWC system that I will continue running GH line in. I got everything I needed today except my water manifold for adding a top drip feed I will use for young plants without enough roots and im waiting on grommets for connecting buckets with 1 1/2'' pvc pipe. I got the biggest air pump I could find so each site will have 2 6'' Eco-stones and over 100 liter per minute of air. 4lpm is enough but you can never have too much and the way I look at it is if I expand my system I have enough air already. Because these pumps run hot I will hook a hose to the air inlet and draw cold outside air through itnto buckets in hopes water temps stay around 68'F. Tomorrow I will get my light rail up and once I receive my rail extension I will remove 1 of my 1000watt lights and cover the room with 2 1000 watt hoods. I want one of the hoods for my veg tent so I can run a 600/1000watt MH in there.

I am excited to run a couple more auto's. This Critical Jack Herer is supposed to be really good and also a good producer. IMO anything consisting of Jack Herer is great. The Jack Diesel was a favorite to most my patience and friends along with Blue Dream and MOB.

I will update you all tomorrow when I plant the seeds. Besides the auto's I am going to use Root Riot cubes for the seeds because I have 100 of them I need to use and never even opened the bags. They are soaking in ph'd water with clonex solution at 100ppm's. Now has anyone used these cubes for seedlings and if so I would love to here some feedback on them. I here they are awesome for clones but I use an aero cloner so I have not been cloning in them.

Let the show begin........wooohoooo:D:

I forgot to mention that I will be starting my first breeding adventure with a male from the Rare Dankness Vale Vale and GTH #1. I will later on use the pollen to cross with something or self it and make my own seeds depending on how I like it.

Hey guys just posting some pictures of my ''Office''. Took a few hours today and went through my room, tents and work area and got it cleaned up and stocked up. Got all my ingredients for my soil mixture and compost tea. I am super excited to grow some organic smoke. There is a lot of different nutrients because as I explained before im testing a few different lines and mixes. Below are some pictures of what I picked up today to build my soil and tea. Here's a list of the things I am using.

Earth Juice- HY-Brix Molasses to feed bacteria so I can brew 24/7 32 gallons at a time.
Mason jar of Kelp
Fix it soil worm castings for both soil amendment and tea.
Coast of Maine- Lobster compost
Coast of Maine- Blueberry Compost
Perlite
Poo Guys compost tea. A mixture of a few different kinds of crap- I will list what's in it and NPK later on.
Sunshine #4

I will use 1/4 bag Poo Guys, hand full of worm castings couple handfuls each Lobster and Blue berry compost, Kelp Meal, and Molasses for my tea and should land me around 1000ppm. My buddy who owns the shop runs his organic this way and has the frostiest top shelf bud I could ask for.
In my soil mix I will use 2 bails of Sunshine #4, 15 pounds of worm castings, 2 bags of COM Blueberry, 1 bag of COM Lobster compost, and 2 bags Roots Organic 707.

Soil and tea ingredients ready to mix up. I am having a hard time with patience on this one. eeeeeeeee.jpg Molasses for the tea. eeeeeee.jpgPoo Guys compost tea mixture ''Grow'' formula and later on I will use transition then onto Bloom formula eeeeee.jpg Fix it soil ''worm castings'' for both tea and soil amendments eeeee.jpg My nutrients stock. A lot of this stuff I have aquiried from helping people start up and I buy large bottles and split it with them to save a little $$.eeee.jpg On the left in the Humidity dome is my seeds in root riot cubes. I cracked them in water then into paper towels and then into cubes. Never used them before so im hoping things work out. I soaked them in ph'd water with a light dose of Voodoo Juice and Roots Excelerator. The clones vegging next to them are all MOB that I finally got transplanted out of the solo cups after they reached over 18''. Got lazy until a burst of energy come across me today. My back has been bothering me and missed some work so its been a while sense I got much done in my work area.e.jpg

Anyone know if I should let this soil mixture cook in the tubs for a few days before I use it. Never done this organic stuff before so a little guidance along the way would be greatly appreciated. Show shall start soon as long as all the seeds all rise from beneath..:firedevil:

Sunshine #4 is the shiz!!! It's all I will ever use!!! Great lookin set up, and you look like you are well on your way!!! Never used all the amendments you have. I just run the #4 Aggregate all by itself, except with a bit of dolomite lime. Hell Yeah!!! I'm in:pop:

I would let it cook for a bit.

Yeah bro I am a Sunshine addict. The one time I switched to pro-mix I had oh issues and the reason I switched was my buddy's shop wasn't carrying it atm. I now am back with it again but all organic. Thanks for joining Bri glad to have you along. It will be a little bit before I really get started but it should be a fun grow.

I just got to get all these ladies finished out and moved from the flower room so all the new stuff can go in, in a month or so.

Very nice flower room!!! Looks like its going to be a good harvest!! :peace:

Thanks bro, yeah in 3 weeks I will be harvesting 2 every week until they are done then the room will no longer be a perpetual grow. I plan to fill it with plants all of the same age but a few different strains. I just grabbed a light rail 4.0 so im going to cover room better with the 3000watts im running. I am looking at a new home tomorrow that if we like it we may be able to purchase It in November and I will be moving my grow to there and building a new better sealed room

Damn TD those ladies have some fat ass buds on them bro. Hold still while I give you a slap :slap:

I love Sunshine Mix to best stuff I have used my problem is that shipping the stuff to me usually cost more than the bag of Sunshine Mix itself. But it is still the best I have used haven't got to try Pro Mix yet but hope to give it a try one day.
