Hey folks! I have been trying to prop this girl up, flushing, pure water, light nutes, more humidity.... But I don't know what's keeping her down. Just looks droopy all this time. Last thing i did is flush once again and look at ppm and ph in vs out. ppm's are in the low 200 and ph is right where i want it. After the last flush she seemed to perk up but i needed to water her and after adding 2 cups of water she started drooping again.

Also, based on her color im guessing N is low, i am still giving a little grow nutes to bump that up.
Also, there are 2 plants in this pot. one massively LST'd, the other barely noticeable, small, no training.
-Problem: leaves drooping

-Medium/grow method: soil; foxfarm ocean forest but it's old soil (like a year old), i.e. the original funky nutes have been cycled out

-Feed and supplements used: advanced nutrients sensi grow mix A/B 10ml per gallon. Plus 4ml foxfarm calmag.

-Water source: tap water sits for usually 24-48hrs +

-Strain and age: sorry i dont know the strain, had a few beans and didnt label things properly.

-Climate: rh 53%. Temps generally 82f

- Light used: LEDs. Mehzi single cob, purple King led light, Total wattage for lights is 300w at the wall. 20/4 schedule

-Additional info: not sure right now...

finger 2-3 inches into the soil, it smelled sweet, but then like potatoes fresh out the dirt. so i dont expect rot but who knows.
I had worked on getting the pot dryer and i think it may have helped her slightly, but i know tomorrow AM she wants water, there isnt much in the pot.

what do you think?

as I mentioned the soil smelled rather sweat. I checked this morning and it was rather dry, added a cup of water and boom, the plant is drooping more now. . . i am open to all suggestions.

soil issue roots are not handling things - stop watering, add soom epsom salts( I add 4-5 grams per gallon) I also make up a spray bottle with cal mag and epsom and spray the leaves - don't stress it happens when we are to keen - dont give the plants to much water/nutrients, I dont do the 10% run off as it floods the media and if there is a slight issue it takes to long to dry out - should be watering every 3-4 days ( in my view ) approx 1 - 1.5 liters per plant until things are sorted :smoking:

Thank you for your input. Last night I moved the plant to a different spot, thinking perhaps she doesn't like the intense light.... She perked up but I am not quite sure if it is because of the light or the pot getting dry. I will need to give her some water later today and will see if she responds better.

Next step them would be to try the Epsom.
Cheers!

Just dropping a quick update. I positioned the pot under different light and also broke up some soil throughout the pot by squeezing the sides, hoping to create better air circulation and drainage. It was very hard.

She is looking better right now. Will see how the next few days go!

I've always avoided bags in favor of rigid plastic Air-Pots out of concern that any rough moving the plants around would damage roots. So you don't consider damaging roots by "squeezing the sides" and shifting the media/soil around to be a problem?

Good point. Well in my situation where things just didn't look good I had few choices left. I am just taking a stab, hoping I can turn this around.

I do think that a soil through which the roots can breath and move should help them. It will be interesting when I did get up, although right now I'm trying to revege everything (although supposedly autos don't come back, so they say)

Cheers
