Hi there guys!! ,so glad i have help on days like today..

Well I've had 2 completed grows now in DWC 5 gal buckets in my little 120 Budbox with some very good results on the last Auto Ultimate (11.5 oz) however me ,like a lot dwc'ers are battling heat issues.
I have a new Autonight queen and a 2fast2vast in the res's with two more going in as well ..so four all up.

Temps are in the rise where I live and yesterday my tent topped out at 30c (86f) with my 400mh and heated the res water in the 5 gal buckets to 25c! this has been plaguing me since I began growing and its really making it hard for me now!!

I can't really afford/ or want to use a chiller because i have no interest in the maintenance of a RDWC system or building one.
In saying that i would get a chiller failing every other option and possibly adapt it for solo use (if that's even possible) and I'm very content with my solo's and quite good at using them so I'm thinking if i buy a portable air con today that might fix my problems (?)
If i keep the bedroom cold enough to have my tent in at 26c (78f) lights on is my theory from info I've read , So I've come to humbly ask advice or opinions from my fellow AF mates to call in the cavalry to help :(

Thanks in advance for any advice!!
PS. the porta air con i was thinking was one of the stand alone types with window hose (11000bhu) for a main bedroom.

bit of an update ,im thinking of going the led route ,just wondering if anyone out there has tried "fullspec lighting's : HD280" ,i can't seem to find any info on them but I'm fully reluctant to even try led..these are about £400 on ebay..soposed to equal 600w hps.

I think you can get rid of your water temp problem by getting a 5 gallon tote and installing one of these.

Then I would install a venturi water pump to help circulate the water around as well as add oxygen, or you can get rid of your air pump all together.... something like this.

I use this setup and my water stays 18-20(c) with a box temp of 28-30(c). Also getting away from air pumps really cuts down on the noise...
