So I'm fairly new to growing snowryder, the seeds came as promo freebies from shortstuff, Ive found a that they are fairly light producers, they spend a lot of energy producing inefficient branches and more than the usual number of the hybrids that I made with them didn't auto even though both parent plants were supposedly true breeding autos. Perhaps they are more of an outdoor strain.

But... I have one snowryder down in the lab that smells like garbage. I mean like yesterdays lunch and dinner scraps, and this mornings coffee grounds left to fester all day in your too hot house, that smell. This plant also displays no pheno for branching so I couldn't resist pollinating it with some IBL snowryder pollen I saved a while back. I would like to isolate the no branching gene as it does not seem to hinder overall harvest weight, but they take up much less room.

My question is for you snowryder veterans, whats the word on this garbage pheno, somebody must have found this before, whats the smoke like?

I've done 3 or 4 grows of Snowryder and have never had that smell. Matter of fact, I've found Snowryder to be one of the lightest smelling autos. They generally aren't a real big plant but I've gotten some nice yields off of them. But I've had a few odd phenos as well. There's a very sativa like one lurking in there that I've had twice. They got over 2' tall but the buds were very long and loose. The stone is pretty heavy indica with a bit of couch lock.

My White dwarf mutant had a garbage smell to her for a couple weeks, then it switched to coffee and then kinda fruity. It took four weeks of jar cure before I really liked the smell... I bet that Snowryder pheno will turn out smelling great in the end...

Never had a garbage pheno. Had a ton of mango and pine. With some bubble gum type smells.

Well Ive smoked some photo period s.a.g.e. that kinda smelled like my garbage disposal, but this is gnarly. My basement doesn't even smell like pot anymore it just smells like I forgot to take out the trash. I hope that it keeps the scent and doesn't change like surffreaks did.

Violator Kush smells like a medicated garbage dump. First smells of halls then a NASTY garbage dump! One pheno smelled like rotten lunch meat. Taste foul too. But the bottom line is buzz and this stuff will make you drop out early if your not careful. Narcotics at its best.

Forgive me guys, but I am a newbie and first grower... I been reading forums researching information about everything necessary to succeed with it and I actualy believe I am "ready" but I still need to pick my strain.

I was wondering, How strong is the smell of a regular auto flowering strain? If I plant it STICK to the fence between me and the neighbour... will it stink enough for him to NOTICE its weed?

I been told that the smell has NOTHING related to the smell of weed when you smoke it, that the plant smells different... how strong is it?

If I plant inside the house, will it smell everywhere?

Thank you very much Thai Buddha Man! Very wise... I asked about planting something sticked to the fence, because it wouldn't be possible to be seen easily and I also intend to have flowers outside, so any sort of smell would be somehow justified by my blooming colorful garden...
But in fact you are right, I just can't give it a chance to fail easily like this!

Is it true that some strains may smell to ROT?!??

I never sniffed a skunk... atleast skunks in Brazil does not stink, they are like big rats...

Get some Jasmine..it is one of the Best covering smells for canna..
it melds and disguises..

You can get some that flower spring/autumn..and another for summer..
