Fast Buds The F.B.M.G.C - Pineapple Express by LittleBear

Hey peoples, finally made it back :) shortly around the time of my last post, some family drama culminated in a step relative living at the crib until about a week ago. Had to pretty much shut every thing down in a few days. Now that I have my domain back, I can set my garden back up :) I missed you guys.

For some closure on the P.E:

The indica pheno was more sedative, and the most indicative of the breeder description. The sharpness mellowed out after an enhanced cure.

Pops was on the money about the saty Dom. I chopped a few days afterwards, but only half the plant. Despite mature trichs, it could have gone a few more weeks. The remaining half plumped up quite a bit over the next few weeks, but I was unable to tend to it as I kind of had to ditch it , so I will always wonder if maintaining the original watering schedule along with a non stressful finish would have given an even better product.

Quality of both phenos was top notch. The stank rounds out with age :)

I cometh now with smart pots and coco. I have studied the masters and I am beginning to understand the secrets of hydration and aeration .

I am ready for the next level :d5:

But seriously, geeked about switching to coco, looking at top drip , prefab hydrofarm drip ring. 2 600s, 4 plants each. 3 gal smart pots, was eyeing the 3.5 gal htgsupply knockoff airports but the interwebs seem to agree smartpots make life slightly easier. Canna Coco ab and the pk. Already have a Cal sup.

Still torn between pure Coco vs perlite/Coco mix. I want these to dry out quickish, it will be automated anyway and I'm going for the hydro treatment (small multi feeds) for explosive growth.

Coco heads, please feel free to chime in, I'm all ears

switch to auto pots, you'll never go back!

That was the original plan, but I figured if I was going to have to hand water for two weeks, why not automate? The two pot one tray units look too close together for what I'm trying to accomplish, the one pot 3.9 gals look choice but I can build this drip a lot cheaper. But I'm still on the fence, the takeaways are automated watering and Coco, some kind of way lol. Would you do straight Coco in the autopots, and air domes or no?

Pineapple Express is a perfect combination of sensations and flavors, comparable to a fine Brandy or a handmade sports car, It's a marijuana variety created for those who love pleasure and know how to savor every fine morsel of life. Tasty and exemplary overall, this is without a doubt, one of our best autoflowering strains. It's a hybrid formed from an ideal combination of genetics with fruity flavors

Taste

Pineapple Express offers a mixture of unforgettable aromas: ripe fruit, tropical and sweet, very sweet pineapple; sensations that will lead you to discover pleasures like sex. Pineapple Express is for those who have hedonistic palates - those who like to indulge in a delicious desert and sweet liquor with attractive companions in a luxurious restaurant.

Effect

Thanks to its high THC levels and the pleasurable effects induced by its aroma, this variety is a fantastic aphrodisiac, able to stimulate the sexual appetite and heat up the coldest, most frigid room with hot sex energy in a matter of moments. Its smoke is pleasant with a deep juicy pineapple flavor. It reduces anxiety, increases happiness and produces a sensation of weightlessness, the high is like foreplay - a soft entrance that after five minutes leaves you free of rational thoughts and totally uninhibited. All you'll be left with is pure instinct and a deep need to offer up your desires to the heat of the moment.

Growing

Pineapple Express is a feminized and autoflowering strain that can grow large. It's a great Sativa Indica hybrid and the autoflowering genetics are superb, resulting in extremely rapid flowering times. For this reason, its name contains the word “Express”. While growing this plant you'll get the impression that you're in a tropical party full of happiness and sweet lusciousness. A more pronounced effect is apparent in cold countries where the plant floods the cultivation room with exotic and tropical aromas. The intense pineapple smell entices one to take special care of it during the entire harvest, like if you were preparing a tasty gourmet cake. Its cultivation is simple, pleasant, and very fast, since it will be completely mature within 60 days, and can yield 300 grams per plant (10 oz) when conditions are favorable. It is quite a large autoflowering variety, and can reach a height of 140 cm (55 inches). For this reason we recommend 10 liter pots (3 gallons). Plus, it's fine for novice growers since it only needs special attention with regards to pH and light, but you should judge the plant by its results - it's worth it! This strain does well with added fertilizers except for nitrogen, which you should use in moderation. This plant can surprise one with its distinctive characteristics. It seems like a pineapple, not only due to its aroma, but because while growing it develops a profusion of cones and robust dark green leaves. After the first week of flowering it starts to build up a coating of resin that, by the end of flowering (which lasts about 54 days), will cover the entire plant.
Surely you are a writer in your other job! Lol

"ix nay on that wonderful fruity scent, these smell like ass, putrid funk".

Not having dedicated any time to studying the smell of ass....... I can vouch for God awful smelling weed! You ever be driving in the summer with your window down, and get a big wiff of something no doubt 3 days dead? Uh huh, and it was drying in my bedroom! I thought maybe the cat died, but then, we don't have a cat................

And that said, Beautiful plants no matter how smelly!!!

:slap:
I could almost smell it with your description! Lol

I use a mix of 1/3 perlite 2/3 coco. I don't feel coco alone drains well enough, the perlite increases drainage and air retention. I'm still on the fence about airdomes I mostly don't use them. Drippers are cheaper maybe but auto pots are much less fussy than drip systems, and there's no pumps etc. And you can actually use any pot that will fit in the base. I'm using standard 2 gallon pots in auto pots bases in a grow right now.

That was the original plan, but I figured if I was going to have to hand water for two weeks, why not automate? The two pot one tray units look too close together for what I'm trying to accomplish, the one pot 3.9 gals look choice but I can build this drip a lot cheaper.
