The Definitive Colloidal Silver Tutorial

Interesting ratio there. I will have to look into that more. I remember seeing somewhere that when making seeds one should use a higher n but can't find that damn thread for the life of me. The good news on the lighting is that harvest has begun . I removed the topmost cola two days ago and the next set down are due to be removed soon. Like I've said I only grow one plant at a time so only small portions of the flowers are harvested at any given time and only at peak of ripeness. Each harvest brings more light to the lower areas. I've switched from that led to hps, literally last week so now I can post some pics that aren't going to look Martian lol. I will try to get some of the pollinated bud up here tonight.

dont believe everything you read lol , i was once told or read to up the K even more then i would when flowering , so i tried , had hard shells that took 5-6 days to germ

was told to up the N and had seeds that kept a green'ish look to them as if they werent mature , even though they were , germed normal but didnt look right

now i just feed as though i was flowering a normal budding plant and everything is A-OK

peace

edit, dont use boosters

Thanks Bob! That's what I did. Nute change day was Wednesday, mixed as I normally did. I agree with you about the boosters. Even molasses seems strange to add, especially with hydroponics. I just use the three part series.

All my hard work has finally payed off! Sorry for all the impatients bob, I used tiresias mist for about 30 some days on a donnor branch and when that ran our I made some c.s, after I was schooled me in the c.s area with one simple thread, this one. Well after I sprayed that donor branch till it was harvest time with c.s nothing happened. Lost 11 grams to that experiment. So I pulled a clone off my NL#2 and it was sprayed from new birth till now which is 38 days. Last week I got the idea to use the last couple ounces of c.s. I first made, theew it in my generator jar and added moee distilled water then started it back up. 3 hours later the laser beam was so sparkly with little bits of silver. I sprayed my clone with this new c.s. and it turned my leaves silver and tonight I looked up her skirt and holy shit she had a ball! Sex change in progress.

CS strain pics needed

Great thread. I need help selecting strains for males. If you had to pick two of the below strains to turn into males to pollinate a few branches on the others, which two would you choose for males?

1. Auto Seeds Trans Siberian
2. Buddha Seeds Magnum Autoflowering
3. CH9 Female Seeds Automatic Climax
4. Delicious Seeds AUTO Northern Light Blue
5. Delicious Seeds La Bella Afrodita
6. Dinafem Seeds Original Amnesia Auto
7. SAGARMATHA SEEDS AK48
8. World of Seeds Afghan Kush Ryder Autoflowering
9. World of Seeds Pakistan Ryder Auto

not sure if this is a trick question or what ?

it would of course come down to grower preference/choice

what do you like or want from the strains mentioned ?

chose one and go with it i say , it isnt something myself or anyone could decide for you

if you have no experience with the strains you mention try to find some grow logs and smoke reports , then you can make an educated decision on what strain you want to use

i dunno , hope that helps somewhat

peace

I would make seeds out of all of them with the same strain to recoup your money spent on the seeds. Then you can play around with breeding... It's going to take a long time but feminized seeds are only a one way street...

Hey bob, do you stop spraying at a certain time ?

i spray as close to the day pollen is gunna fly as i can , of course its a guess , sometimes i could have sprayed a day or few longer , sometimes i realize as im spraying "oh shit its already releasing"

its a guessing game , but i try to spray as long as possible , if its truely needed i still dont know for sure , that testing is yet to be done , but i have stopped spraying at first sign of male flowers and ended up with very little pollen

peace

7 different strains to date , approx 20 plants (sometimes 2 sometimes 1) some autos some photo , complete plants because thats the idea behind CS (full reversal)

100% success

i was always on the hate fems band wagon because of the known hermie issues that have now been slowly becomming a thing of the past , i credit the lower/non hermie issues to breeders switching from the stress related products like sts and more and more now useing CS

i wish i had of started useing CS years ago as i wouldnt be growing out so many males i have no time for , i sprout 60 seeds at a time every 2 weeks so im very tired of the time and wasted space i get with males , id only be sprouting 30 every 2 weeks if they were fems

so far from any of my test/grow results i have never had any hermie issues with my cs created fems , and thats a minimum of 30 plants grown from each batch of seeds ive created (all female)

some reversals and breeding projects were done for friends and at their locations , so i never grew/tested any of theirs , but they have never complained either

IMO C.S is VERY effective and reliable when made properly and used properly , also IMO you MUST shoot for full reversal as you are blocking the production in the PLANT not just a branch , how does one block something in only part of a plant when the stuff flows through the entire plant unless you use something that streses the plant where it is applied , C.S doesnt burn the shit out of plants like sts , it leaves them looking very healthy and like true males when in fact they are fully reversed females

most important things IMO is to make smaller coloids (useing lower volts) and spraying the entire plant , smaller coloids actually do what we are intending them to do , and thats penitrate the plant , not just sit on the leaves like larger coloids would and do , any other methods used imo are experimental and as said by cres "unreliable"

i havent been useing C.S for very long , but so far so good , not one failure to date , and that includes the 3 month old batch of C.S i used on my latest project

peace

Would I try to spray the bottoms of the leafs when treating my plant with the CS? Thanks for posting this very useful thread b0b.........K.I.M.
