How many ml are your irrigation shots? I'm trying to dial mine in at 3 shots a day at 250ml per shot. That seems to be about right and gives me run off at the last two cycles. Also I see you have the blocks sitting on the plastic does that effect your air pruning the roots? I have mine elevated on racks so they drain easy. I'm trying to get their flora pot pros but they won't sell them unless you spend a certain amount of money and I don't need 100 of the damn things. It's frustrating.

My drippers are 1 gallon per hour, they run 8 times in each lights on period. 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, (28 total) minutes for the first 3 or 4 weeks then 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5 (35) for the rest of the grow. This give me about 20% runoff every day. convert that to ml so each dripper is 3785ml per hour or ~63ml per minute so the first weeks are at 1766ml per day and after that 2207ml per day.

The roots stop growing at the contact with the flood tray. The Hugo blocks have air grooves on the bottom.

Ok good to know. I meant 2500ml not 250ml obviously. I am thinking of switching to the paragos next instead of the hugo. I'm also thinking of getting some unislabs for them to sit on bc the hugos filled with roots before flower even starts. And if I miss 1 irrigation cycle I risk losing the plant. For some reason I'm having a bit of calmag issues witch is unexpected for rockwool. I'm used to it with coco but I didn't anticipate calmag def. In rockwool. It's definatly a learning curve from coco coir that's for sure.

What is the humidity in your grow space? Under 40% or over 60% can show up as Cal-Mag because the plant is not respiring enough to pull in the Cal-Mag. Rock Wool is truly inert after conditioned so it is not like coco needing extra Cal-Mag.
