For these contests what starts the days , weeks? the day you put seeds in the dirt? The day they first pop from dirt? 7 days from sticking em in the dirt. Throw darts at a calendar blindfolded?

Update #2 They popped from soil 01/05. Today is 01/12. At this point it seems pretty obvious who will be the contender. But then again- small pot, maybe use the small plant? Anywho, just been watering with ph'd tap water. I'll start feeding em tomorrow with the Prescription Blend. Meybe that will be just what the doctor ordered to get em kickin

Actually, the dart calendar is what I currently use for determining finish date. My 8 ball broke

For example I count it from this... Day 5 (5.1.) after soaking in the water in the evening of 1.1. 2020. I dont count germ ... Basically as soon as they go under the MH ..

my day 1 is the day after a seedling sees light.weeks start on a monday.a week is 7 days
for the battles.......it dont matter as nobody is counting.

The First leg Big Battle thread 2020.


Battle Rules 2020


From 1st Jan 2020 Grow Battle will be 2 x 6 month legs....
after the initial fist short leg for changeover.

The First leg will start 1st January to Poll Date 20th April 2020:
Final Poll photo due before 10th April 2020

The Second leg will run from 20th April 2020 until 31st October 2020
Poll Final photo before 21st October 2020..

and will run 6 monthly from then.

For the purposes of Battle Polls a Battle Year will run from October to October to avoid Festivus.

Top 5 Growers from Both legs will then be Polled to decide the Overall AFN Grower of the Year.

To qualify to Poll growers must provide a germ photo with Battle code..a final photo with Battle codes and 6 other updates through the duration of the grow.

Possibly depending on my health and how I feel. Right now I'm taking some time off trying to regroup.
