Hello .... I am just setting up my exhaust system up and I am looking for parameters to set my controller. I did a search but you want to know something? The search won and I still need help.So please would someone be so kind as to give me mins. and max. on temp and humidity.

Temps under hps low 70s, under Led I'm happy when the tent is 78 to about 82. RH depends on stage of growth. Sticking in these parameters will give you the best growth, I do run lower (40-45%) during late flower.

VPD should run on leaf temp not room temp. You will need an infrared thermometer. No matter hps or led, leaf temp is what your looking at. Hps has a ton of infra red, so cooler room temps still give higher leaf temps. Most led have little to none infra red, so your leaf temp will be much closer to room temp. I've seen 5 to 8* difference in leaf and rom temp with hps. Led seems pretty steady at 2* below tent temp...

Basically a 72* room running hps and an 82* room running led can have the same leaf temps just due to the IR.

AC Cloudline T6 has a sensor on a cord, you place it at the height of your leaf canopy. It will show the actual leaf temp if it is placed correctly.

Ac Cloudline Infinity T6 exhaust system.

The infinity sensor measures ambient air around leaf, not exactly the same thing. Leaf temps below air temps indicate transpiration, higher leaf temps tend to mean transpiration has stopped. Transpiration plays a huge part in the plants uptake. I try to keep temps lower on days i feed or water to promote uptake and higher temp on off days to let the plant rest. Trying tokeep in the green on vpd charts can be kinda tough, its hard to regulate tempand humidity in a tent.

Thanks y'all. There is a bunch of good information here.

The only thing I agree with is : its not easy to regulate a perfect environment 75 degree Fahrenheit with a 70% humidity rate. But it CAN be done, even in a basement with 30% humidity........it takes experimentation, CINCH up any port not being used..........thats one tip.......for a brief time I ran 2 humidifiers in a 4 x 4..................I no longer need to.......I do run a micro 400 watt heater about 18 hours a day....outside my tent, near the port where my cords and plugs go thru......I check hum/temp daily, every few hours.
