The 2nd run are coming along really nicely, they are only 4 days behind the first run. but look further behind already, I went to take pics and water them but they really needed watered, they were on the verge of wilting

Ok so I got a Major problem with the TD's

I had a male in my grow and I had put it in a cupboard in order to collect pollen from it

The cupboard was next to the room where the TD's were. The male pollinated my TD's and now they are all covered in seeds...... Not what I wanted to happen. No point putting the male in a cupboard was there might aswell have just left it in the grow

Man that's just shitty for you.What male strain pollinated the TD mate? Will you be able to use seeds from a feminized fem or are not viable?

Sorry to hear of your blunders Super, at least you will have all the seed you could want. The smoke should still be nice, you have destroyed the male right?

No I chopped all the balls off it and put it back in veg

Think maybe when I opened the cupboard the pollen got out then or I got covered in pollen and never noticed, I then seeded the TD due to me cutting up the male and collecting pollen in a bag

But will the seeds be of any use? they will be WW x U (photo period male) x Think Different (Female auto)

Well I am but I dont know if what has happened will produce viable seeds or not. I have very little experience or knowledge when it comes to breeding. I know some things but dont know much overall

It really would be a good chance for a little project as the WW x U male is a DP test strain so there wont be many of those males available

I didnt think you could breed properly with the autos we get from the seed companies. I know you need a ruderalis male and any female plant but this is Photo period male

So I would think that would produce photo period seeds.... but thats a guess

I don't see any reason why your seeds wouldn't be viable. The F1 generation(the seeds on your plant) will produce a plethora of different offspring. Some will be photos, some will be early finishers, and if your extremely lucky some will be automatic. Then you would have to decide whether you want to inbreed or back cross. I would recommend inbreeding to keep as much of the WWxU genetics. Basically all you would have to do is take 2 of the F1 offspring(preferably early finishers) that you fancy and mate them. By F2 or F3 you should find some autos to inbreed. By F4-F5 you should have a fully automatic plant that would be WWxUxTD :thumbs:
