Whats growin on yall!

I'm pretty close to harvest and I'm wondering the best way or place to take a sample bud. Does it matter where on the plant it comes from? Do I dry it as normal? I'd hate to come this far and over do it, or under do it. Lol.

Try resist temptation, but if you feel as though youve got plenty, do the lower branches.
There are also methods of quick drying but will make smoke a bit harsh and lose flavour

Thanks for the reply! I was going to try a nug from a lower branch, dry it for a few days and try a quick cure. But I dont know if its worth it. By the time that process is over (guessing a week) the whole plant should ready.

Hmm all depends like if your buds good fall stop it will be ok even if you micro blast it, like im getting close to doing the same but as you within a week ill be chopping one so i kno ill have some heavenly stickyness to puff, but yeh if your options are "Hood draws" Or quick dry i say quick dry brotha

I usually get a bud from the top, but the smallest one. The bottom ones mature last, so they should stay on the plant as long as possible. And a single, small bud will dry quickly, you should be able to try it in a day or two. [emoji106] [emoji6]

Thank you. I took a middle bud to sample. Do I still need to jar/cure it or can I sample it when its dry? Ps. Ive been watching your youtube vids for a while now. Lol. Funny how the world works!!

id throw it in a brown paper bag to dry it its meant to start the curing process i had great success my last harvest in drying my whole harvest and test buds plus it doesnt smell like hay then i cure the harvest in my jars but id just smoke your small try bit as soon as its dry

Haha! Then it's you who watches them! LOL

Its depends on:

- method of consumption,

- your expectations.

With some vaporizers, you can try it right away, whereas if you're rolling a joint, it'll need to dry quite a bit. Then again, some pot snobs won't touch anything that hasn't cured for at least a month, while some growers hardly ever make it through a month before they finish a plant.

There are also many different methods for drying. I usually do the closed brown paper bags, then to the jars. But sample buds, I just place on the drying rack by themselves. For me, they're game after 24 hours, sometimes overnight. [emoji106] [emoji2]
