Tent Zippers

I used WD-40 on my tent zipper, and it's been smooth as butter ever since. I used the standard one which could possibly damage the fabric, but it's good for me, no damage. There is also a special WD-40 Silicone Something, which is supposed to be better but i didn't have it.
I tried with candle wax but it only made the zippers dirty and not smooth.

I got three tents a 2x2 coolgrows the zipper gets stuck on the light proof flap every time got to hold my finger in behind the zipper to keep it away. Got a mars hydro Never have a problem zipping that up. Just got an bigger ebay cheap one and its going to have the same flap problem that the cool grows.

I have a cool grows 4x2 somewhere myself stored away. Same issues. Price was right at the time though.

My gorilla tent has decent zippers.

I just wish the main flap zipper was a 2 way, or reversed as I mostly just need to open the bottom to water.

I wish that they would figure out a way to add a vertical front zipper to the extensions that sort of align with the main front zippers. I added a 2' extension to my indoors shorty since I'm only running a 4x2 for a bit. And getting up into the upper area to adjust stuff is a back breaker. Other than that I love their tents.

I have a cheap ass zazzy brand tent and I have to do like a pull/twist/lift thing while keeping my finger between the seams kinda move. Pretty sure nobody else could do it in 20 tries :crying: But it's been the same for a couple years now and the quality of the tent is way down the list of important things for me for autos
