USA Only *Tent Fires* Pinky Tuscadero Auto * Test Thread *

I had to top Pinky#2 this morning. The mold was starting to move to the outer parts of the cola. No sign of any in the rest of the 2 plants yet.
No sign in the other 3 plants but I guess it's just a matter of time.
I had only had one plant show one spot of mildew since I've been growing autos and that was in a small cab where temps were always a problem.
I'm pissed that it was my first (partial) grow in my new tent. I checked each plant for critters when I moved them and they were clean. I'm going to let the plants finish, chopping as necessary then drop 2 more which I'll continue to post here. The dried sample tells me it's already good smoke.
Mold is tough.. Ive had PM like 3 times... Hell, probably still have it somewhere dormant in my tent just waiting for the right conditions. I would definitely pause after your current grows and disinfect EVERYTHING in the tent.. Indoor grow temps for cannabis are also the optimal temps for mold.. 75-85 degrees with 40% or higher humidity.. That's like a sleep number bed for mold, lol. It can happen to anyone unfortunately.

Pm. Is a pisser for sure. Are you in the US ?
I use an organic product that's good for about a 150 different kinds of fungus. It's called Green cure. Works phenomenal on p.m. and other molds leaves nothing on your plant. it's made with like 86% potassium bicarbonate.
And you can use it right up to harvest. There's another product that we use here at the farm that I work at call Plant Therapy. Plant Therapy is good for a bunch of different mildews it's all organic it's also good to kill a lot of different nasty little bugs spider mites aphids whiteflies thripes and so on. And is made with essential oils. All organic. But I wouldn't use it within a week to the end of harvest. This personal preference I think it would leave a flavor if you didn't doing h202 wash. But the farmer uses it right up to harvest and up his clients don't seem to mind.

Proph, Pinky #2 is some potent smoke. That's just out of a dehydrator. Properly dried and cured it will be amazing.

One of the tricks on zucchini ( PM loves it ) is to take baking soda and mix it with water in a sprayer and spray the leaves every day. I believe it is the high alkalinity that the PM does not like. So the green cure makes sense.

Sure baking soda works good.
I had the P.M So bad for a long time in my inside grow that the PM got into my basement ceiling. In the wood of the floor board's and floor joices.
It's was so bad, 2 years ago I had to clean all of the basement out and wash it all with bleach water. UGH... 2 day's later I painted it all with zimmers moldicide paint. 12 gallons at $30 a gallon.

I've done good since then... until 2 weeks ago... :pop:
It's a factor of growing here. The whole hood has pm every where. I can't get away from it...
But not to worried now that the paint is on.
Will be shutting down the inside grow for the summer in May and clean... Again:shrug::gassy:
The farmer, he used a sulfur burner for his big inside grow. It worked real good. But it stinks big time. :gassy1::dizzy::baked:

You friggin' tease!

I don't usually wake and bake at 4:00pm but just had my best sleep in a while.
Checked both Pinkys and not a sign of mold. None on the others either. I lucked out. It never got through the thick film of resin between the tight-packed buds and just wiped off with my finger. No puff of spoors and not a sign of residue on the buds. This stuff looked more like the mycorrhizal fungi I've grown than any of the common molds I could find pics of and the ones that were close had descriptors that didn't jive with what I observed. Out of left-field, knowing what an amazing fungus it is, I wonder if myccos can actually enter and propagate on a plant it benefits?

@Proph , sorry so late to the party but it is germ day today! Dropped seeds into shot glass of spring water for a 24 hr soak and will be planted into insta-transplant solo cups tomorrow afternoon! Woohoo!

So this is my plan, feeble as it may be! This is to show the diversity of Pinky T in different size containers with different styles, shapes, of pots. Pinky T 1-3 will be 3 gal non-woven cloth pots as a “control set” , pinky #4 will be in a solo cup as I have never done a solo cup grow... pinky t#5 will be grown in one of my 2 gal buckets that have made appearances in other threads I have posted, and last but certainly not gonna be least is Pinky T in my diy two bucket S.I.P. 5 gal bucket system. Damn this is gonna be fun!

@Proph i hope this is ok as you stated at the beginning that you wanted as much diversity in grow styles and container sizes as possible... I will be in promix premium moisture for all as I am comfortable with that. I hope to do the solo and 5 gal SIP justice as this will be my first foray into both of those!
