Ha ha, cheers NG mate. Sometimes I'd open up the tent and just go 'fuuuuuck, where do I start...'!
Now that the Autos are done and dusted, jarred and curing away, I've moved the Blue Amnesia from the 1.2m x 1.2m tent into the old 1.4m x 1.4m tent... just a tiny bit more room around the sides now, plus better 6 inch intake and extraction, and a full ceiling of Skylines.... I have one 800, four 400's and two 100's all up, I dunno if the tent can take anymore strain.... it's leaning to one side a little!
It's lights off now, so I can't show you just yet, but maybe tonight, I'll try and get some pics.
Back to the Autos, as I said, all jarred up now. It's so nice to see so many full jars of herb!
No stems, no seeds, no sticks...... some of that sticky icky icky, put it in the air....
Here's some dry weights for you.... all solid buds, no fluff.
Night Queen 6.10oz (173g)
Toofless Alien 8.56oz (243g)
.... and....
Glueberry OG.....the Siamese twin..... 2 plants from one seed, one much more dominant than the other.
The runt gave 1.02oz (29g)
The Big Sis gave a stonking 14.52oz (412g)
15+ ounces from one seed!
Harvesting this lot was not as much of a pain as expected, the nugs were all beautifully shaped, instead of the usual knobbly jobbies I get when using Top Shooter etc.... no foxtailing at all, just nice, evenly matured, really sticky bud.... and loads of it.
I saved all the sugarleaf and any lower fluff to make some more Canna Coconut oil.
The Toofless Alien and Glueberry really delivered, and I'm well pleased because I kept this grow as simple as possible with regard to all the nutrients and additives I gave.
The Alien in particular gave me no trouble at all during the grow. She literally grew herself. I have one last seed, and it's a limited edition @mephisto strain, no longer available
The Glueberry needed considerable effort to get her to perform.... but what a show she gave us!
To knock up 'a pound a da weed' from one plant, especially an Auto, not just once, but consistently.... (this is my 4th Glueberry over 13 ounces), it's every grower's dream!
The Night Queen was perhaps a little lightweight, but that's probably because she had a lockout around week 4.... a crucial time, and she's an early finisher, so she didn't have all the time she needed to really pack it on. Nevertheless, the bud she gave is the usual super strong heavy hitter.
Very strong mango smell, and I remember a previous mango Night Queen also giving similar issues in veg and comparable final amounts. The strawberry milkshake pheno is a bigger producer, and can take a stronger feed.
Quality wise, this is probably the best crop I have produced.
So after 5 years of insisting on using expensive late bloom boosters, I am never going to use them again.
I also didn't use the (pricey) H&G product 'Amino Treatment'. It contains silicon as well as the essential Amino Acids that the plants needs..... I found this made no difference, if anything, not using it allowed me to keep constant levels of A&B during veg instead of having to reduce A&B as I increased the added Amino Treatment in order to maintain the same EC.
On the subject of EC... apart from being at EC 0.7 for the first 2 weeks, they remained on EC 0.8 for the entire grow. There was no need to go round pushing up the EC... they just took what they could get from the (mostly once a day) feeds.
Anyway, enough rambling.... I'll put up some pics soon! You're gonna love what's going on with the Blue Amnesia!

the amount of light over that amnesia is insane dude..
Good move moving the blue ammo to the bigger house, at this point mate... i can only laugh at the ridiculousness that it will be!
Another amazing grow bro.Ha ha, cheers NG mate. Sometimes I'd open up the tent and just go 'fuuuuuck, where do I start...'!

So as promised, time for another update, it's day 104, just the Blue Amnesia left, and she's 32 days into 12/12.
Now that the Autos are done and dusted, jarred and curing away, I've moved the Blue Amnesia from the 1.2m x 1.2m tent into the old 1.4m x 1.4m tent... just a tiny bit more room around the sides now, and better 6 inch intake and extraction.
Well Hope, now I have the slightly bigger tent, I have all my Skylines available to use........ I have my shiny new 800 (thanks again @muddy-ledhydroponic), my original four 400's and two 100's all up....
I dunno if the tent can take anymore strain.... it's leaning to one side a little and even the reinforced mesh roof is bending
I've had to put this much lighting in because of the lack of height space... reduced spread of light coverage etc.
Here's a shot of the amount of space I have, and you'll see what I mean....
The canopy is sort of sloping down as you go into the tent... the stuff at the front is taller, so I have to crawl under the plant, and pop up at the back of the tent to get a better view....
Here's looking from the back at the left side...
....and the right side....
A sea of colas....
I've just started giving PK13/14, and hope she's got about 4 weeks left to go.
We have to vacate by the 3rd October.... no way will she be done, so I have to face the fact that I WILL have to move her late in flower. Luckily we have a 2 week overlap with the two properties, so we can move in to the new place in stages, and have time to fumigate the old place, ahem.
I'm gonna hire a small removals truck with a tail lift etc for a weekend..... at 8am lights off, wrap the BA up in plastic sheeting made up from black bags, tape her up fully and get her in the truck, pack down the tent and lights etc, throw a load of other shit in with her, and move her to the new Gaff.
20 minutes drive through the countryside, once there, pop up the tent, get her in and lights on by 8pm.
That's the plan, we shall see!!!
OK so it's day 116.
116??? WTF you might ask.
Basically back in May, I planted a bunch of Autos, with the intention of getting a quick harvest before we move home.
3 out of 4 flowered as normal, under a 20/4 lighting regime.... one wouldn't.... the Blue Amnesia.
It wasn't until day 73 when the penny dropped and I realised it turned out to be a Photoperiod. I moved her to a new tent and flipped her to 12, and lo and behold, she bloomed.
Today, on day 116, she's 44 days into flowering.
The problem with a 73 day veg period, it that you get MONSTERS, so I had to do two phases of major supercropping, and got a mesh screen over her to maximise what little overhead space that I had.
A shit load of defoliation under the mesh, and I'm greeted with this as I open the tent....
The mesh screen is 120cm above ground and about a metre above the top of the coco.
I really don't have much space.... about 20-30cm between the canopy and the lights, which are at maximum height.....
The supercropping has allowed me to create a massive canopy 1.2m squared. I had to be brutal, but as you can see, she responded well....
It was after the first round of supercropping was done to all the main upright stems when I put the mesh screen over, so what you're seeing under the screen is that.
The second round of supercropping was done to all the shoots coming off the (1st round of supercropped) stems that grew above the net, and you might see a few green cable ties holding down some of that lot.
Are you with me so far???
Anyway, getting a decent pic of the canopy is pretty tricky, I have to crawl under to the back, and pop up between the two lights at the rear.
She won't fit in one frame, so this is the area on the left....
.... then the centre region....
...and the right part.....
After a few drags on some Toofless Alien, I came up with with the idea of using the 'panoramic' function on my phone, and got this......
.... and even then I can't quite fit her all in one frame!
The buds are fattening up nicely, and are loading up with a good coating of trichomes..... pistils are beginning to brown off, so she won't be long now.....
.... but she won't be done before we move, so I'm faced with an early chop or to somehow hide this beast from 2 open house inspections AND a move interstate.
I have a complicated plan all worked out in my hazy mind, and I'll let you how it goes over the next few weeks!
