Howdy, Peeps :smoking:

The folks at Tasty LED have provided me with one of their T4-2100 LED panels, and I decided to dedicate it to my auto tent for a few runs, so we can see the results, together:coffee:

Here are a few unpacking shots, for y'all to see the packaging:

First impressions...
1) Full On Industrial Class Build! Dang thing is both Most Heavy Duty, but all components are Top Shelf!
2) I've designated this panel The [HASHTAG]#BigElectricSun[/HASHTAG] , and rightly so!!

3) The visual amount of light output, before ever getting into PAR/PPFD and all that PHD talk, is ASTOUNDING!

So, this morning, I installed BES into my Auto/Veg tent, a 4x4 that I run 3-4 autos in as well as my seedlings for photoperiod production.

Thanks Again to the Tasty LED fam, for their generous test panels, and their Rock Solid Gear!

I noticed this evening, that the tent temps-with the T4- are 3-4 degrees lower than with the "other" 400w panel that I had in there.:coffee:
And, I have an Auto Haze CBD that is finishing up, and it perked right the hell up!! It was a dramatic burst of vigor!

2nd impression....
These CREE COBs are a whole different animal than plain LED face or reflector/single diode designs. The light output doesn't look the same, and while I'm no slide rule PAR/PPFD wonk the light intensity is off the chart!, the heat from them is significantly less than either of my reflector units- from just below the panel, within an inch of the COB.. It is quiet, not silent, but not noticable from 3-4 feet away from the tent.

Not going to mince words, the T4-2100, so far, is a top shelf unit that has a lot of good features and attributes. I can't wait for a few days of it, to see how the young autos (and a few photo seeds awaiting a flowering room spot) take to this technology. Elegantly simple design, and real high end components. I'm getting sold!
More pics coming soon!

I'm excited to see these in action! I've had a DIY build stalled for months waiting on " dress up" parts, But I'm going to just bolt the damned thing together and go with the industrial look lol! And the plants don't really care....... Its also no match for these, I'm using older CXA 2530 chips but its still 3 times better than the pair of "600 watt" I'm using now!

And things are looking up a bit, So I might be in the market for a light like this in the future.
