Cheers bro it's a 4" Hydrolab, it moves 275 m3/h so pretty cool for such a small fan,it uses less power than my Manrose 4" too.

Thanks, gonna look it up. I've got the same tent arriving soon and was thinking of upgrading my manrose so happy coincidence I stumbled in here.

Can you not dim your cobs mate? You could get away with dimming in a 1mx1m tent and still have plenty of light, yet way less heat.

Very little heat under the light bro due to the efficiency of the heat sink, is only raising ambient temp by a couple of degrees.
Coverage in 1x1m seems perfect at about 40cm above the canopy.

The Telos seems to be bringing out the quality in the flowers too....

I don't think Telos run cooler than DIY COBs... I guess you are not driving them hard and your efficiency is 45-55%. I think I read Telos are 40-45% efficient.
But... you cannot compare 240W Telos to 400W COBs... Compare 400W to 400W.
