doesnt pruning the plant piss them off in which case wouldnt it be better to do it in the stretch period as she doesnt need much time to recover where as if you do it after the stretch and she is focusing on flower production your gonna slow her down at the most important time, dont get me wrong i wanna see you ace this strain but im just weighing up your thought process

Dude your business is always welcome here,your the best grower I've ever seen lol I removed the lower few fan leaves a couple of days ago,I try and do it when the nodes start to stagger just before flower so I should say I do it towards the end of stretch rather than after stretch. I've read as much as I can but there is not much about trimming autos, when would you remove foliage dude?

as above mate when she is in pre-flower, the strain is sativa dom so if i was gonna trim and go for top buds/even cannopy id do it sooner rather than later

Thanks for the confirmation. This run I waited till stretching stopped and buds were well on their way and getting fat, then gave them real tight hair cuts. Wrong! I was sure I'd slowed down bud production. They should have been much fatter. Too experimental this time and had two lessons learned in one run.

DAY 33.

She now stands a 1m from the top of the soil,this is the first time I've grown an auto in a pot this size I usually use 6L and I can defiantly see a difference although DP test auto#5 is a beast in a 6L but I think she is a one off lol I've put her next to Auto'X' in one of the pics. Auto'X' seems to like this grow room so I'm gonna grow her out in there to see what I can get from 120W LED. Still have her on veg nutes at ec 1.6.

Here lately I've been pruning rather aggressively. I haven't seen the growth rate slow down at all. In fact production is up . I will say if you don't know what you're doing and if you're not familiar with the strain you are growing then you are gambling. I don't prune every plant I have just a select few that I feel have the health and the structure to handle it. I killed a beautiful yumyum bush once by pruning her to death noooo Ha!!! That sucked. :smokebuds:
