Lighting TaNgs Dinafem Cheese Auto and DP Auto Ultimate.

I have seen similar studies years ago showing the same, though not with MRI scanning. So time for some up-potting and a 2 story grow room.

Thats so strainge you should say that bro I was just stood in the kitchen mid dab session looking at my garden and after looking at the rhododendron I have in a 30L Airpot I go to wondering if using a bottomless 6L Airpot on top of one of my 15Ls (essentially extending the height of the pot) would make much difference....it should after reading this http://www.bbc.co.uk/nature/18612661

Ohh now TaNg thats something i would really like to see. The 30l air pots are about the same height as the 15l, they are just wider so you would need some vertical height just like you said.

How about just digging some holes in the floor, seems simpler.......I think.........you want it deeper Mr. Tang jackhammer babe.jpg

Interesting thoughts Bro! I had similar ideas for the BAM Slam comp ........ however, can I ask if you have ever had a primary root which has reached the bottom of a 15l airpot? Yeah, seen lots of huge rootballs from larger pots but, the primary seems always to be short in comparison?

IMHO Indoor canna cultivation does not allow time enough for the plant to do this, more so when you consider that basically canna is an annual plant and therefore(?) does not need the root system of a perrenial/houseplant.

I just wish it was legal to do the type of research needed for our favorite plant!

Damn! :slap:

You will do something anyway in this effort to maximise potential, that much is sure! TaNg's Thang

Do it!!!

Yeah it will work bro. A friend of mine grew GSC from BCBD in a 6L Airpot, transplanted into a 15L round pot. The girl was fucking massive, it bent around the top of his greenhouse and finished about 9 ft.

If the Ultimate comes in over 400 I don't think I will need bigger pots lol. Saying that I could be blown away by the yield (like 400 wouldn't? Lol) she looks to have twice as much as her Cheesy room mate and my last Ultimate and they came in just shy of 10zips each.

Hey man heres a thought for you. i grow in bigger pots than Tang and the primary root always makes it to the bottom every time. Sorry to hi-jack your thread Tang, yeah man you dont need to this for sure but i bet you get the biggest plants ever grown in soil if this was done. From what i have seen autos tap root just wants to keep going right down no matter what.

Now, what kind of defeatist mumbo jumbo is that.......... are you planning to continue to serve up endless re-runs of "the Ultimates" episode 27........not bad, but a bit like watching Only fools and Horses Xmas special over and over.....Delboy and Rodney would be most disappointed "next year we'll be 1 kg a plant cannanaires........and making a mockery of the very word ULTIMATE........bobbing around in the doldrums...........and we'll have to address you as HHO(Ho Hum Operative) TaNg..........jerry20laughs.gif

Get your act together my good man and get them there pots stacked up.......... or realitycheck.gif

I agreee with three Es lol the tap root is the key to plant size...ok I hereby commit to a grow sometime soon with a DIY extended Airpot,it may be worth getting a standard 20L Airpot for comparison.....

something else i want to work try this year is an Eco AN feeding schedule using just A&B bloom, calmag and BigBud....that what I hope I can get away with anyway lol.
