Since people are showing off this is what im running and i have a full set of 2700k bullbs but thinking of doing just 6500k might pick up some t5 VHO Mid-Day bulbs they run both 2700k and 6500k 2k lumen output each some nice bulbs i think anyone wanna chime in on full spectrum bulbs? heres the pics :D DSC00208.jpgDSC00214.jpgDSC00213.jpg

Looks nice! I hope to get a similar, but larger version to replace the overheads... + rep to everyone growing with CFLs or T5!

Here's my small homegrown CFL fixture. Running 4 42w bulbs in there now, with room for two more on the sides when the plants are larger. But this may be getting replaced with a T5 fixture in the very near future...

Right on, a T5 thread. I am using a Sunlight systems Tek Light (8) bulb multi spectrum 312w fixture. My Auto Widow girls are 16 days old and doing well, they are real bushy and is producing a great amount of bud sites.

Andy, very nice diy work on you home made fixture. Nice...

Thanx rip i grew my first indoor crop last year with cfls and i must say i was very happy with my harvest. I think for a grower on a budget t5's and cfls are the best and can produce a nice crop.

Nice topick My Man!
I'm sorry, because the time difference I just now see the new topick.
Its great! I'm realy intrested about CFL/T5 lighting.
You're very privileged sitiation in the USA. I think about many times whitch lighting sysytem will be the ideal for me. I think at first I use T5, after I think manybe i do it cheeper with simply CFL. But at last when I se the conversation in the other "lighting" topick, I decide use the T5 definitely.
But not just my country, in the whole EUROPE I dont find a complet T5 system :( :( :( :( :( :(
I see many site in the US, whitch produced T5 fixure in many size, and transform, in REALLY CHEEP!!!!!
If I do it my own fixure at home, the materials I need cost for the whole 6 tube fixture is 180--220 dollar, but of course it will not so effective, than a shop fixure.
In the US I find some prity nice fixure. And they cost the same price like I do it mine own... :( But they dont delivere to Europe.. :S
Anyone know a good place to buy this fixures in europe?

Thanks, Rip. I thought of going with the standard bathroom fixture that many people use, but I wanted something with more versatility. The PVC is not glued together but fits tight, so I can rotate the individual bulbs into different positions if I need to. Or I can disassemble the unit and make it larger or smaller to fit my needs. I plan on using this for supplemental side or bottom lighting once I get another main fixture. Plus, the PVC is dirt cheap and all the wiring and connections are contained inside which is never a bad thing in a humid environment.
