This is my first proper grow. I have my own soiless organic mix in two 5 gallon fabric pots and one 12 litre standard pot. All are mulched with Lupin mulch which adds Nitrogen as it breaks down. In the fabric pots I have the Cream Mandarine and Green Poison. In the standard pot is Sweet Trainwreck.

All seeds were soaked in water for 24 hours after which all had popped and then went straight into their final pots in a fist sized seedling mix consisting of 50/50 worm castings and coarse sand.

They are now three weeks since being dropped in water, or 18 days since being above ground. Probably half those days have been cloudy, when the sun is out the position they are in gets about 7 hours full sun. The CM is the most vigorous so far. The TW got slightly damaged when the dog decided to bury something in the pot and covered the seedling in mulch for a day. The TW also has surprisingly wide leaves for what is meant to be a Sativa dominant strain.

I have been watering once per week with tap water left for a few days to let the chlorine evaporate. The last water I used a little Go Go Juice and Charlie Carp. They seem healthy and happy so far.

Now at 4 weeks since being above ground. They have grown pretty fast since last pics considering they have only really had two fully sunny days.

They have all started flowering, the Trainwreck started first and is the smallest and slowest of the three. It is in the 12 litre plastic pot while the others are in 20 litre fabric pots but at this small size I wouldn't have thought that would be making a difference.

The Green Poison has stretched more and just taken over in height from the Cream Mandarine, but it has one less node for the height. They are both around 8 inches tall while the TW is around 6.5.If they double in size by the time they are finished I will be pretty happy.

They have been getting watered just once a week with Go Go Juice and a little fish emulsion. Looks like my organic soil mix is good so far, no sign of any deficiency.

Hi wannagrowbuds!
It's nice to see you posting your diary here in the Sweet Seeds Subforum, I'm sure you will enjoy these strains, mate.
Good luck with all!
J.

Thanks Jay, very happy with them so far. Decided to try some LST on the Green Poison as it is the only one with a stem still flexible enough.

5 weeks and all going well. Trainwreck is small with basically no branching. It will just end up being a bud on a stick, but starting to get frosty already. It has a strange smell but not very strong, a little rotten smelling.

Green Poison has responded well to light training to open it up to the sun. Smells a bit like citrus.

Cream Mandarine is the champion. Still growing vertically and getting some branches. Is the strongest smelling of the three with what I like to call the classic weed smell.

Have been watering weekly with GoGo, fish hydrolysate and now molasses.

First pic is all three together for a size reference. Those fabric pots are 10 inches tall.

6 week update. No dramas, little bit of bug damage here and there and have plucked off a few caterpillars but nothing worth spraying.

Trainwreck has grown a tiny bit, but is turning into a compact sticky mess of buds and leaves around 20cm tall. Green Poison and Cream Mandarine have put on height and starting to get main colas. CM is now 40cm tall.

Still feeding fish hydrolysate, GoGo and molasses once per week.

7 weeks. Stretch has stopped, hopefully they will fill out and be ready in 2-3 weeks. Trainwreck hasn't changed much so no pics.

8 weeks now.

Trainwreck is still tiny but the buds are rock hard dense. All three plants have pretty dense buds actually, must be the good sunlight they have been getting, plus gave them a dose of liquid potash last week. No sign of using up it's fan leaves yet.

Green Poison has started using up it's fan leaves. As this is meant to be an Indica dominant strain I will let it go until it has used up all it's leaves or until I get a lot of amber trichomes. Really want to bring out the couch lock quality on this one as it will be the opposite to the trainwreck.

Cream Mandarine is still filling out and just starting to yellow the bottom fan leaves.

9 weeks.

All are still producing new flowers. The Green Poison and Cream Mandarine are starting to foxtail, probably because of the heat. The buds are still dense and heavy though, the lower branches on the Green Poison are starting to bend under the weight.

Was hoping they would be done by week 10 but they may even go 11 or 12.
