Ok guys so my new ph pen arrived today.

Solution going in reads 6.1 and the run off is reading 5.7 the pen has been calibrated and seems to be working fine as i tested this several times. I know that is real low. But does it sound right ?

Without doing the math I'd say your soil PH is significantly lower than your runoff. One easier way to test soil PH is to make a solution of PH 7, add a decent amount of soil, let it get slushy for a few hours and test that. It may be it's low enough to be causing lockout.

Did that dude and my slurry is testing at 7. But when I did the earlier test was 5.4.

5.4 would fit the math better, and account for at least some of the issues you're seeing. You should try to get the next several waterings as close to 7 as possible to help buffer up the soil.

Hey guys on an unrelated subject.. which was is best to get coco? In bag form or brick form ? All my nutes are hydro so they should be ok too thanks.

In my opinion I like the bricks they seem to be ground up finer......."My 2 cents"

Bricks are cheaper and just as good IMHO. The stuff I buy comes in fine and in chunkier. I get both and mix. Bricks need to be rinsed and buffered though.
