Have a question about supplemental lighting... I have a 4x4 tent with a mars hydro fce 4800. When I get into later flower, is it smart to add underside lighting for the smaller buds (above lollipop but below tops). I have heard adding supplemental lighting at the later stages can be a bonus, anyone have experience with this?

Yes I have used side lighting during flowering. The lower buds bulked up as nicely as the upper buds. I take Samsung sunboards and cut them in half mount them on a heatsink and place one in each vertical corner.

That's awesome! I have 2 spare mars hydro TS600 100w lights that I could hang in the lower side, I have never used those lights, so I wonder if they would work

I am not sure, they could be a tad large, but just turn them down and make sure to follow a rotation schedule so the plant gets even exposure.

I got these Barrina 4' LED Strip lights Model # INWT504009650Ec from amazon, they come in 2' sections, I mounted them to PVC Pipe, attached rope hangers to roof of tent. DNK if these lights are worth using, but look ok:biggrin: Worth checking out. Sorry I am computer stupid or I would have sent you a link to em. Good luck.

had this idea too - did anyone already use only the bars of another/the fce and put them in/between the corners. should be possible with cable extensions?Dimmable and also possible to assemble to top-light - and you get 4 or more bars...anyone?
