Hi guys, so my plant is streching like there is no tomorrow about 10cm in just 2 days. I decided to do super cropping the tallest branch. It is day 46 from sprout. Daiquiri lime autoflower, coco medium, handmade 500w cob led with a 150w quantum board.
So the question is should i do it? If yes where should i bend it? It is gonna be my first time thanks in advance.

i know the light is too close i took the picture and relocate the light.

No need to do anything fancy, ie., massaging the stem. Just bend it over until it's horizontal and tie it there.

Within 12 hours it's likely the top will be horizontal again, just keep moving the wire forward.

Cheers.

@XHausteD :welcome:Welcome to AFN:welcome:Is the light raised as high as it can get in the tent?

Hardest thing for a new grower to do emotionally and physically is to super crop a plant to keep it out of the lights. The problem is many new growers as well as all of us end up in that situation indoors sooner or later. Have some grafting PARAFFIN TAPE on hand just in case. 6" lower than you think you should, roll the stem crushing the inside 3 x the diameter of the stem in length between your forefinger and your thumb, then bend the branch over at that pinch. Bend to 90° from the stem or horizontal to the light. If you did not get a good enough interior crush the stem can break usually just on the top. If this happens just wrap with the grafting tape and all will be well. You may need to tie down the bent over top as many branches just lift themselves right back up. A great lesson to teach yourself on your first harvest or any harvest for that matter is to practice super cropping on branches you have harvested. You will get a good feel for what it is to crush and bend without the dread of "Killing a Cola".

:goodluck:

Just be gentle as you can I supercrop a lot and I feel if done at the right time it can also make my plant explode and regarding how low to go it depends how playable it is low down anyhow good luck growbro

Thanks a lot guys, you are awesome. I will try, hopefully i won’t break anything. Fingers crossed

Uhh, you should lst/train by tying down and spreading the branches. Supercropping is a last resort option to keep a tall branch out of the lights. At 3-4" tall I think you have terms mixed up.
