Supercropping an auto...during flower phase?

i havent had the courage to supercrop yet...

I say go ahead. I had the exact same issue with a cab grow (2 sq. ft- approx. 33" vertical between highest light position and top of res) - different strain: Auto American Pie (Pyramid) | The Autoflower Network

I ended up doing multiple supercrops IIRC in order to salvage the grow. I ended up harvesting 2.5 oz off the plant. Lesson learned - I am much more selective in my strains now.

good luck @x00m !

   Been a long time since I had a tent-full like that. Plant looks great. Does it whisper "Feed me" when you walk by...............

I tied down, super cropped, tied up and anything I could to try to keep this girl out of the lights. So all of the methods do work and the plant will just keep growing.

Update.... plant is 2 months and 2 weeks old... and she keeps growing.. im not sure how long the stretch period will last.. but its getting beyond a joke now. i keep bending the tops to prevent it from hitting the light. but she keeps growing back within a day. shes growing an inch per day i would say.

i havent had the courage to supercrop yet...

im running 16/8 lights should i switch to 12/12 to slow down growth? would that help?

also does she look healthy for a 2 and a half month old plant?

Thanks,

Your bottom leaves are nice and green. That means they are getting light. I would try to leave them as long as air circulation is good.

Nice plant! Good Work!

update, i took the plant out to do some supercropping.. these HUGE i didnt expect this.

shell be 3 months old in 2 weeks time. most strains are ready to harvest by 4th month is that right? or is it heavily strain dependant?

It's strain dependent but I have had all my autos finish <79 days. I may just be lucky so far though. It looks to me like you have a ways to go. IMHO, YMMV, etc.

Don't know specifically what to tell you and will defer to the experts. I would consider defoliating some of those top fans although they may actually be providing some protection to lower buds from burning given the closeness of the light. In terms of time, what do the trichs look like (sorry if I missed that)? Buds look like they need more time to swell. FWIW, HTH, YMMV, etc.

One unsolicited safety observation. You really need to get your electrical outlets/connections off the floor. One wayward splash and you could have problems, from burning something out to worse. Make sure you are hooked up to a GFCI.

the trichs are clear and small. the buds definitley need more time to get big. its very "gappy" between if you look at a single bud.. its not dense enough yet.

yeah i need to get those plugs away from the ground :O

Can someone help me with severe pH going down within a matter of hours?

its been doing this for about 5 days straight. my ppm was 550 and when i set the ph to 6.2 it drops to 4.5 within about 3-4 hours. and i keep adding ph up and it keeps dropping.... the ppm is stable.. the water level is decreasing per day...

someone said increase the ppm so i flushed the res and added new water and nutes and set it to 710ppm. and it still the same.. the ppm is stable. water level decreases per day and ph drops like a rock..... not sure what to do.

total water capacity is 36 Liters for the plant.
