I'm a total noob, so I didn't take any pics to support my results here (real scientific, eh?), but here's what happened.

I put a bean in soil about two weeks ago and that plant is doing fine so far. On the same day, I put another bean in the ground and after a week, nothing was happening. I did nothing different than I did to the other plant. I have some Super Thrive and I thought I'd put some on the seed to see what, if anything, would happen. I put about three drops in an about a quarter-inch of spring water and poured it on the soil.

The next day the seed had broken ground. I lifted the humidity dome off it to take a closer look at the sprout. Little did I know that the sprout was sticking to the humidity dome and when I lifted it, I yanked the stem from the seed. Obviously, that seedling died.

This past Saturday I put another seed in a seedling pellet and nothing had happened by last night. I thought I'd try the ST again. Same deal: a couple of drops in about quarter-inch of oxygen-added water (this oxy water is the only difference). This was around 8 p.m. last night. This morning, the tap root was not only visible, it was quite long.

To be purely scientific, I suppose I should've used just spring water like before, but I'm pleased with the results. I know a lot of people believe that ST is nothing but a huge scam, but this was my experience with it. Just thought I'd share.

Hmmm, let's just say you got me intrigued, next time the change is lose, I'm in a grow shop, there's a SMALL bottle on the shelves, the stars AND the planets are aligned perfectly . .... Might be worthwhile for seeds and first week or so. A few drops won't bust the bank....as well as a few drops of snake oil won't!

Thanks for posting this...... So far I've given the price of SuperThrive a wide berth, but with your little nudge....!

Next week 6 seeds will take the plunge, I'll do 3 with ST if I can lay my paws on some before then.

May have to try something like this with my seeds in soil now...add a few drops to some water and spray on the soil above them...since I have the super thrive already.

Well all my seeds popped before I could do this with my seeds but I'll add a little to my water jug to wet them with in their first weeks...we'll see what happens.

I had a spot in my front yard that didn't want to grow grass ... I think it's where the masons mixed their grout for the brick exterior .... I used Super Thrive in a watering can on the spot for a few weeks and grass grew there for about the first time in a couple years ... went out of town and the spot died again .... I believe @BayLee420 and @virginia gent both grow w/ Super Thrive ....

Not sure if related but I did put a very small amount in my shot glasses with my soaking seeds and my seeds popped faster than they ever had once I put them in the soil.
Not sure if due to adding that or just coincidence but it obviously didn't hurt.

SuperThrive is good in the seedling stage. 1/4 teaspoon to a gallon of water. I'll pre-soak the soil just before putting the germinated seed in. Then apply once a week until flower. Just add it to nutrients with any other goodies that you like. My grandmother used it in her garden and house plants. My father swore by it for his tomato plants. My first guerrilla grow had issues and the grow shop (not the :dancer: Grow Shoppe) said to use SuperThrive as an additional boost in veg. Seemed to help. Make sure that you follow the directions.

Me too. A drop or two and no more is good to soak the paper towel if that's a method you use. The stuff has been around for years and years. My Mephisto Beans will germ in record time using S/T..Then again I've had duds too. It's gardening.

Hey Guys, Super Thrive is great stuff. I use aerated tap water or rain water when possible and also bubble it all to mix nutes. So I add it to all water right off the bat. Including the wet towel. It is a bit pricey for such a small bottle but worth it. I probably overpay at $12. for 2 oz. but it goes a long way and I don't mind to support a local owned hardware.

1/4 teaspoon per gallon is all you need. Springs around the corner. Most hardware stores have it now. SuperThrive is a must in the garden. Especially in the seedling and growth cycle of anything from house plants, patio flowers, vegetable garden, flower and rose beds, fruit trees, your lawn and the ganja grow. Sometimes we don't realize that it's just gardening. Mimic the seasons inside your grow space. Ganja likes perpetual Spring in VEG and perpetual Autumn in FLOWER.

NOTE:
I generally stop giving S/T after the girls stop stretching. After the fourth week most are then going into fatness. Growth is not a factor now and why waste something that's not needed. In seedling and veg it's good stuff.
