i am using 10l pots with plagron all mix bio bizz nutrients under 2x 600w sodium vapor air cooled hoods day time temps 25c might time temps 21c humidity45%

feeding every other watering with 1ml top max/l
2ml bloom/l
2ml grow/l
each plant gets 3-4l per watering/feeding every 2-3 days

have used Epsom salts on week 6 and week 9 at 5ml per 10l and folar feed epsom salts in week4 and week 8

ph is 6.5-7

i am running my lights for 18hrs on 6 off

i had thought this problem was caused by a magnesium deficiency so I treated all 5 plants with epsom salts in week 6 and they all seemed to look better. By week 8 two of the 5 were looking dodgy again so I treated in week 9 and things haven't started improving again.

Compared to the other auto strains in my grow room the super stinkys have taken a long time to start blooming. Their feeding schedule has been adjusted to compensate for the vast amount of plant growth and longer life cycle. Since week 6 when the other autos were fully in bloom the stinkys have stayed on a veg feed with an extra 1ml/l bio grow. Their leaf colour has become richer and darker since I upper the amount of grow in each feed.

Are these just very magnesium hungry plants or am I completely barking up the wrong tree? Any advice would be appreciated and I'm happy to answer any questions.

Time to flush brother! Your ph is slightly high on the scale. Also did you add any kind of micronutrient fungi additive to your soil at the beginning? It is definetly necrosis caused by ph or caustic soil or both more than likely. My advise is to flush with a ph buffered solution and let the soil reset itself and then go from there feeding again after she dries out but make sure you feeding at a ph of around 6.2!

thanks for the quick reply dubv i just watered them heavily i will flush them now.

Just make sure to flush with 3 times the amount of the pot they are in and test the ph of the runoff. When its between 6-6.4 stop flushing and let her dry out completely before doing anything to her. No problem buddy and good karma sent you way...

I have flushed my plants with ph buffed water and getting run off at ph 6.2 and they have nearly dried out now new growth is looking good. i am not shore weather to water or feed them next 3 of them are 2 weeks in to bloom and 2 of them a just starting to flower and at what strength i should feed them any opinions will be appreciated.

I think i might of saved 3 of my super stinky. got myself a ph meter and things where worse than i thought. My water is ph7.4 so i got some ph down and buffed it to 6.2 .and have let it stand for 24hrs. i decided to cut my losses on the 2 plants that where not quite flowering after 3 months. So i re-potted the 3 remaning super stinkys from 10l to 20l air pots so hopefully they may stay damp for more than 1 1/2 days looking good so far and culling the 2 plants have given me enough space to start 9 seeds some mi5 and some more Dr feel goods.

ps i was using universal indicator paper for my ph test and it was not very accurate.funny how my dr feelgood and super cali hays have done fine with the same conditions.

Hey Hippy I had the same problem with my soil but like your dr feelgood and super cali I had no problems (Auto Assassin and Buhhda Auto), strange eh!

Had the same problem with mine...My ph got to high on me and bam. Same shit...I talked with Stitch and he said basically what DubV said, except the ph should be at 6.0...

Atleast for the Super Stinky...Mine came out of it, but most of my older leaves took the brunt of the blow. So she's starting to look better. That's to bad you took 3 of them out. Mine is on day 80 something and she's just now starting to fill out nicely...She has great structure and sativa dom. So I can't wait to try mine...

Good luck with yours and happy growing with lots of ganja love sent to the plants....
