Mephisto has had SODK out for a long time. The 10 yr old Mephisto OG's will be very stable genetically.

Hey guys.
Problem: My second auto is two times smaller compared to the other similar plant. Should i give it a chance or it's just a waste of time?

Medium/grow method: Biobizz Lightmix, 20L Airpots

Feed: and supplements used: Biotabs Starter pack

water source: Bottled water Ph 6.5, 200ml daily (if the upper layer of soil is dry)

Strain/age: Barney's Farm Wedding Cake Auto

light used: 260W Quantum Board (fullspectrum, 3780K; 2,75 umol/j; Ra 91,3) 18/6, distance to tops - 3ft (seems like this light just too strong)

Climate: Temp 21-27C, Hum 45-55%

Additional info: First time growing. This was smaller than the other one from the start, but i thought it would catch up. Size difference was not a concern for me until 2nd week. My other similar plant is ok i guess, but this one is just a midget. It also doesn't look very healthy, leaves are curling down a lot, it looks droopy all the time, stem and branches are super short and the spaces between branches are super narrow. Is it just genetics issue or my mistakes?
Is it worth growing, or i just messed up big time and there is no chance of getting a decent yield from that plant?
Help please, every time i open my tent i just want to cry looking at what have i done to this poor plant.

Runts became Runtz after all! But I've seen the same, plants I considered "dogs" ended up the most potent strain in the tent. Rarely the best yielder among the bunch but often the "knockout" strain.

I'm growing 3 Bloody Skunk at the moment, all 3 seeds out of the same 3+1 for free pack, identical airpots, same water/nutes/light etc since day one... Two of them are huge monsters in comparison to the third that is a very small mongo midget.

MOG is certainly spot on there. No 2 seeds are guaranteed to grow the same.View attachment 1292252

Todays seeds are hybrids. This means different genetics were bred to form that seed. It also means DNA from either parent can be expressed and then sown by us. Many different variations (phenotypes) are the result. The same strain can produce many phenos.

Now, breeders. If they continue to work with a single strain over and over they can reduce variation and produce more stability in the strain. If you are looking for stability CLONE photo plants.
