Greetings AFN!
First grow ever with Super Silver Haze Auto via www.marijuana-seeds.nl/
I plan on posting once a week to document growth and progress and to ask (perhaps even answer) questions as they arise.
This is Silvia II on day 4 since sprouting out of soil. I took this picture yesterday.
Silvia II (RIP Silvia I :cry germinated a week ago on July 12. I used a moist napkin in a sandwich bag, placed that in a cardboard box, and set it under my laptop for 2 days.
After her taproot emerged she was planted in a 5 gallon pot containing:
2 parts Kellogg's Patio Plus
2 parts Roger's Gardens soil
1 part perlite
I mixed together all the ingredients, thoroughly watered the medium, let it drain for 10 minutes, and then loosened the soil with a fork. I dug a hole with my pinky, planted the taproot facing up, covered her with soil, and put her out in the sun.
2 days later (July 14) she popped out of the ground!
At first I covered her with a vented microwave cover to act as a humidity dome, but removed it because I didn't want to deal with hardening off.
I've been misting her daily to help keep the leaves clean but I should probably do this earlier in the morning; I think she may be sun scalding! I put a drop of SuperThrive in the mist water and sprayed the soil to help the roots develop, but haven't since.
Today the soil was a bit dry so I watered her with a mixture of 1 part urine to 10 parts water. This might be a little early to be feeding nitrogen, but she seemed fine at the end of the day.
I wish I had a better spot to put her... She only gets about 9 hours of direct sunlight a day due to surrounding trees.
I'm gonna go get drunk now, bye!
