I have seen the video documentary, where the guy was cultivating the vegetables (cabbage, cucombers, etc..) using sugar as a fertilizer, and he had them really really big ones, 2-3 times bigger then normal, I never seen this before, has anybody try to use sugar water for plants or have you ever hear about that?

It kind of makes sense this. The roots of a plant usually excrete sugars into the soil, which then feed the micro organisms living there, who in turn excrete waste that the roots can absorb and use as food. If you try this, don't add any chemical ferts as they'll kill your micro herd!!

I've just been reading about using 1 1/4 cup of milk per litre of water with organics for sugars and calcium in grows too. Interesting stuff it is =)
