i am in the middle of setting up my indoor tent but ive noticed i dont have a plug for my carbon filter or fan do they run with out power? or have i just not been giving the wires? lol

Hey mate the carbon filter doesnt need power the fan just pulls air through it. But you need to wire your own plug onto the fan. Just take the screw out of the little box on the side and wire it up there.
If you need any more help just ask

aw i see thanks for the info lol i dont think its going to be easy for me to make a plug but ill give it a try

Just take one from another household item you dont need, like an old hairdryier.
Strip back the outer wire. And you'll have 3 wires, earth-green and yellow live-brown and neutral- blue.
Use a small flathead screwdriver and put each wire to the matching colour in the connection block and put the cover back on.

just cut the wire and plug off something that's generally not used.such as the iron/hair dryer/washing machine.

I personally just set it all up(just got a tent) and let it run. I figure you are going to have to set it up at some point may as well get it all dialed in. My GSC just popped fine (all 3 did from soil) and they are running on 18-6 as seedlings.

ill just do that then although i was planing on doing 20/4 or 24/7 ? not sure yet though

With autos you can run 18/6 24/0 and anywhere inbetween. You can even go right down to 12/12 but it will really take away from yeilds. Find what works best. I have to run 24h light due to the low winter temps
