Bobby's Widow. Overlapping leaves, very distinct. Very dark leaves. Don't know if the pictures really show it well... Just this 1 plant is totally different from the rest. Anything look familiar here @BCBudlady :pass: This is the tallest plant in the bottom middle pics from yesterday

Very cool mutation! I have not seen that before. Bobby’s is a darker green leaf plant. Gets that glossy look, often. Doesn’t want for much feed and is the fastest/smallest of all FD’s catalog.

So mossy recognizes the multiple leaves and black in the Bobby's Widow. I'd love to keep the black leaf trait. So I guess now I need to prepare in case it's a female... Spray it with sts to make s1 fems if it is? This is my only tent and it's supposed to be all males, so I can't separate it :pass:
I Recognise those Faces @JP1 ...... :pighug: .....when I first worked JEM....I Worked Down the leaf finger count...chasing Colours down......

When I got to Black Dragon I was working on Increasing the leaf finger count to Max.....and that is One recognisable Trait to me........it got so Many leaf fingers it had to put them in above and below each other.....

I Do Love the Trait........:dragon2:........

You are Breeding it....?...this High finger count pheno starts to get Webbed fingers....and Extras..where you get Partial leaf seperation..

Made me wonder if this was where they started pulling Ducks foot....or...if it is just wanting to evolve to the next finger count Up.....

If you are crossing.....do a leaf finger count on both parents.......so you know which way it is Swinging........:yeah:

IMO...The Higher the leaf finger count...the Bigger the Prize...:headbang: ...

You can definitely reverse her, by spraying half the plant, but she flowers fast. I would begin spraying at first sign of gender expression. It takes at least 3-4 weeks for a reversed plant to produce feminized pollen. The seeds will need another 4-6 weeks for viability, so roughly 9 weeks from sex to be rewarded. This will put her past due date, and she will look rough, but it’s definitely doable. Remember….do not consume any plant ( sprayed section or not ) that STS has been used on.

If I self it, will the plant not accept pollen from the plants around it or, would it end up as a mixed plant?

It will accept the first pollen available, so if you have ready and willing true males….she/he will get pollinated by them. This will begin as soon as sex is shown.
Breeding is limiting.

3 weeks. No sex yet but starting to see some changes today so should be showing pretty soon

Thanks @Lil Dab !!! :bighug: Projects can also go sideways at times. Just remember, that plants are only assisted by us. Sometimes, they do their own thing.

No problem completely understand and loving learning about this breeding. You seem to have a infinite amount of wisdom:toke::worship:

Not really, but thanks. Mostly, I make mistakes and try to learn from them. Just returned from vacation to a full-on hermie that likely ruined the UEL reproduction. Good thing I’m not in the biz.
