Hi

This is my second AF grow and my two Amnesia Haze's are 22 days old!

I think they are a bit undeveloped, one is more than the other, the less developed one is showing some discoloration what could it be?

Been feeding for the last week grow big+bloom big+calmag in reasonable rates. Runoff water is always above 7 but doesn't exceed 7.6.

Please advise.

all look healthy to me, maybe a little behind but by not much I would say... not every seed will grow at the same rate, very rare they do. There always one racing ahead and if your unlucky a runt (I often find the runt turns out some of the best on the smoke).

what size pot are you in and what medium are you using?

3 gallon fabric pots and using a mix of peat moss based soil + perlite and vermiculite throughout.

looks like your all good, try not over water them as that could slow them a bit... next time you feed make sure the pots are nice and dry (so they are easy to lift). Get those roots to shoot out looking for water and you should see and increase in the growth... your about a week-ish away from them taking off

you may want to top them soon for a better yield, they are at that perfect time... let them grow another node then pinch the top of them

I'll take that in mind next watering, but believe me, I tried to let them dry once they take a long ass time like I worry lol. I have a gauge on how heavy they are when watered so I'll take that into consideration. Regarding topping, can you give some tips on how to do that? or direct me to a video or thread that can guide me if you can.

Am new at this but can I top and also do LST ?

they will take a long time to dry out at the start they are only small... also by having the soil too wet at the start you may slow them down (unless you can feed more oxygen to the roots)... be patience and let that pot dry out before you water next time, and do the same from then onward until chop. You will see an increase in growth and you will see a better yield.

number one rule when hand watering (not for coco)... let the pot dry out before then next feed

My tip - for the first couple of weeks don't drench the pot just feed small a watering (1/2 ltr) every 2nd to 3rd day for the first couple of weeks so the pot dry's out fast and that tap root shoots out fast toward the bottom of the pot... you will see a faster start to the plants by few days... after the plant takes off then start a full drench with every feeding

@Novice grower what is the pH of the water you are giving her?

As far as topping and LST, they go hand in hand. I am also new, but I highly recommend topping or FIMing combined with LST. Search this forum there are tons of posts regarding topping, FIMing and LST. @Stone420 has been a hige help to me on those techniques

I love to LST auto flower plants, but a bit hesitant to top or fim based on the plant's short life. Your veg time is so short, she'll be into flower before you know it. Conversely, there are many savvy growers on AFN that readily top and fim auto plants with great success. I think the trick to this is to do the top or fim at the proper time when the plants only has 5 or six nodes. FIM may be the best approach since not as much repair needs to be done by the plant.

LST should do the trick to produce multiple colas if done correctly. My suggestion is to try LST and see the impact that has, then try fim on a following grow to compare.

This is my LST getting her into a bowl shape, then I let her grow upward to form multiple cola buds.
