Hey im trying to figure something out n cant find a answer online.
Ive got a ph/ec pen in one, and it has ph storage solution in the cap, will this effect the reading of the ec bit?

I think it turned the metal probes abit blackish but not sure if was already like it. (Should of checked)

Hey sound for that, would the metal pins be ruined now?
N should i store the ph probe n pins in water or just use a seperate ec meter not stored in nothing

Cheers

You could try rubbing them with a scotch pad that might clean them up but they are prob fckd i would use sep ec meter and store it dry

That begs the question of how you are to protect the pH component of a combo meter without damaging the EC component.

How do companies like Bluelab do it and offer a 5 year warranty? It could be that the Chinese company making these made a poor design choice in the material.

To the OP. D you know someone with a known working EC meter you can compare against to verify the EC probe is still working?

I just bought some buffer solution and it
Says to leave the ph pen in Some solution
