Making, drying and processing of hash has been covered here as well as all over the web. Storage of the final products like pressed hash/trichromes, bho, iso, or other extractions that are not really food related.

My general assumption is after properly drying and pressing/processing the hash, storing it like it were buds would be the overall guidelines. Dark enviroment, controled humidity with sealed container and controlled temps. Needing to burp hash seems like a good possability for a little while especially with ice or dry ice.

i keep mine in the fridge in a baggie in lockbox with some other long term goodies with a silica pack but i havent heard of a standard myself.
i just made sure it was dry(as it was bubble) ive had no mold etc and potency seems fine after 4 months or so but ive never done anything different so im not much help.

Thanks for the reply. Any information is good information of yoh can use it.

i agree hash should be cured like your bud...i even cure my trim for my wax..i let it sit out in dry then put it in bags and burp it for a few days and when its done it smells like bud...no leaf smell at all...makes super tasty concentrates...lots of people just let it sit out and dry and throw it in bag and leave it and dont let it burp and dry more and it ends up smelling like hay..

very good topic, but here is the problem. Its how you like to keep your final product and how you choose to manipultae it at the end of processing it.

Ok you buy a OZ of hash, is it bubble hash? or Paki hash? or pressed dry sift? or pressed dry ice hash?

All very good questions and all need to be handle with care in storage.

Some people after making bubble hash have no idea how to turn that sandy drying hash ito nice dark black soft bars of goodness so they leave it as "sand". The sandy stuff will store much different then if you hand pressed (charas) or mechanicaly press. Anything that is in a bar shape or over 1/2 inch thick should be watch very closely for mold as they can mold up within days of being jarred with to much internal humidity.

Freezing is a great way to extract moisture, and for storing.

Thanks for more info. Im going from the stand point of making your own and storing it. Thanks for the info on size and mold problems. Id much rather have small chunks keep than big chunks go bad. For me self it will be bubble pressed with a pollen press of some sort. Maybe some iso or bho but not to much. The plan is dry cure buds, use bags, dry good, press, then cure with a humidity guage to know if it its still giving off moisture before storage.
