I am reading the new auto flower book by Gardner Jeff right now but may take you up on your offer when I need some more reading. Hey @baked in the bluegrass are you running the normal autopot system with fabric pots? If so what pot will fit?
Thanks for the info. Have you heard of a square pot fitting the regular autopot tray? Maybe that would be the ticket?Heya!
Im not currently using the fab pots but when i did i used 2gal fab pots, i think the brand was vivosun straight off amazon.
They wont fit perfectly but it worked a treat imo and better than the autopot pot that comes with the system, better in regards to more airflow thru the pot, better drying.
Now if you have the autopot xl that tray is already round and can hold a bigger fab pot, but i just used the normal sized autopot tray with the 2gal!
I hope someone is listening. I’ll order 4 square AirPots that will fit nicely into the standard autopot trays. I do like fabric pots. Used them on my first outdoor grow. I asked around about square ones fitting the standard trays but never got a good answer so figured I would run the stock pots for now. I do like the idea of more soil while running a super soil.Im sure you could find one! I hadnt even considered that really, just happened to already have the normal round 2gal pots and crammed it in!
Ill say this tho, in general i bottomfeed all my plants now, i learned that from the autopot.
I do like the fab pots but if you can get an airpot or knockoff, those work even better for that type of bottomfeeding imo
