New Grower Starting off in coco with Autoseeds GSC

So they blew out my 3x1.5ft tent in 4 weeks and I had to do something. I was finding wet pockets where leaves were overlapping so much. I was terrified and didn't want to do it but I began defoliation at week 5 just to get air flow through the jungle. The first girl started flowering at this time and I thought the sensitive girl was close behind. (I was wrong) After the haircut they traded places so the problem child is on the left now. Thought she was gonna stunt for sure at this time.

Decided to figure out exactly where we are and it's day 69 since true leaves showed. That tickled me dirty mind. Couple pics from last night.

Welp about to close out week 11. Early girl is getting more and more brown pistils, looks like she's headed that direction. The slow girl is an absolute monster, she's getting too close to the light for my liking but doesn't seem to be too stressed about it. I think she's still got at least 5 weeks meaning she's gonna go like 115 plus days but I think she will be worth the wait. I don't know how a baby that big could finish any faster. She's 107cm, right at the top of the breeders height range. The little fatty bush only got to 82cm so I guess it no wonder she's gonna finish earlier. Backed the early girls nutes down just a touch as she seems to be wanting less.

85 days I think we're at. Finally seeing some noticeable weight gain on the early girl. She's a very frosty little girl. Nearly all darkened pistils but still a few new white ones coming in yet. Calyx are poking out around the new pistils so that's probably the last new ones she'll have. She's not drinking much, getting most of my nute solution back. Dialed her down to .75ml/l Bloom, .25 Overdrive but probably cut that off today. Seem to be staying ahead of the tip burn, leaves still green and healthy. Still a few days ahead but I can see the end.
Big girl is still enormous and trying to overtake the space all for herself. I really want to defoliate her today, as you see she could use it, but when they come out of the tent this time I definitely won't be able to get them back without breaking someone's arms. Within the next couple days I'll move them to separate homes if the little ones still going. Surprisingly the beast isn't a big feeder, 1ml/l Bloom and. 5ml/l big bud is all she will let me give her. She's real thirsty though, having to give her 1.5 or 2 liters addy a time sometimes to get runoff. She'll drink a liter and not runoff one ml in the heat of the day. Alright I'll stop rambling, sorry I didn't fix any of these pics lighting and such.

oldnewbdude's tutorial on how not to trim weed lol... Got her all chopped up. Prolly a few oz good buds hanging and maybe an ounce or two of popcorn and trim in the freezer. I didn't weigh nothing yet. Just using my automatic built in eye scales for now. Had to sacrifice the growbag to peep her roots just this once.

I'm struggling to get the big one across the finish line. The stress of the lights is really starting to show on some of the upper most leaves. I moved her around a little in the tent and tried to get the light away from the tallest branches. She's drinking like crazy and as a result I've had to back way down on nutrients, tips are getting burnt even down low. I'm gunna have to support some branches soon, she's falling out of the door when I open the tent. At least I'm starting to see frost and some pistils going dark. Hopefully within the next few weeks...


As the first one dries the buds are all looking pretty larfy. Im sure she suffered from being so far below the big one, not enough light at the most critical part of flower. The hash from it is tasty and potent so maybe it will at least be good smoke if not the densest nugs ever.

I see cloudy trichomes starting to happen, the end is getting closer. Still plenty of fresh pistils especially in the lowers so she's got at least another week yet. I'm determined she's coming down by 17 weeks. Glad I stuck this girl out, she's gunna make it worth the time but I definitely didn't expect her to go this long or get this big. Had she had more room I think she could have been an absolute tree. She's all strapped in for the end of the ride, the side that wasn't crammed against the wall when she shared the tent is definitely heavier and has more flowers.

I finally pulled her down. I couldn't look at her anymore, 114 days was enough. Really hoped to get pics of her out of the tent before harvest but the branches snapped under the weight as soon as I took her out. Will be a nice yield I think. Lots of small buds saved for bubble making and some big old spears hanging to dry.
