Can somebody tell me the percentage of indica/sativa/ruderalis for the start ryder?

I see the think different is 60% sativa 20% indica 20% ruderalis but don't see nothing on star ryder :bong:

Im growing 2 of them at the moment and from the look of the leaves on both of them i would think it was slightly more sativia then indica but not by alot, you should PM Dutch Passion Tony he would be the man to answer that question cause you neva really no with diffrent pheno's n all...i have to say its a nice little plant man, the nodes just seem to come all the way up from the bottom all by them self...i was gona try lst them or somthing but they just seem to be getting them self's into good light on their own....just a little bit of tucking fan leaves... anyway man just my :2cents: hope it helps:peace:

Oh yeah you can see the heavy Sativa styled genes.LOL Ive seen some write ups here n there that say Rud.70% sat.20%Ind.10% and early on heavy Indica traits then pop right into the Sativa stretch it goes. Its always weirded me out but cool to watch man. :D

If ruderalis has low or very little thc, than if an autoflower has a low percentage of ruderalis are those the more potent autos? :toke:

Well i think thats open to debate ofcourse. But IMHO i believe that if you adhere to the core basics with a leanred tweek here n there ,one can truly have a 90% Rud. Auto be potent as most anyone would need as a whole. But then look at the fact that I believe all Rud. crosses have that green taste/smell no matter how slight(Or so Ive read). But so many breeders and growers alike are weeding all thesed things out and within a year or two from now I feel they will have damn near the perfect Auto or soooo clsoe to it that it wont matter at that point, since we're already there to a degree. But for pain relief amongst other serious illnesses these Auto that are coming up now are so geared from the Gene level and crossing and reverse crossing that the perfect med is here. And improving all the time. But if given the proper light and core basics n C02 and the right conditions an Auto is quite potent.Ive had some know me asleep to yapping so much I wont shut up.LOL!And a lovely cross in between.See like right now,Im all medicated.LOL

side by side if grown under same conditions..if you had a photo plant that was lets say 80% indica and 20% sativa and an autoflower that was 80% indica 20% rud. would the photo plant be more potent since it has 0% rud.? just talking THC..im curious on how much that trait plays a part in autos :smokebuds:

Well IMHO since if your running a heavy Indica with low Sativa traits as a Photo vs. an Auto of a Rud. cross thats heavy indica. The Indica of the Auto I believe will be very potent yet the Photo will i think be a bit stronger overall. But I try to for the most part stay away from flatout Rud. crosses. Its already being bred out of them so we'll see the day they'll be run together in smoke tests that are blind and cant tell the diff. IMHO. :smokebuds:

good comments and questions !

firstly, a good quality auto from a good breeder has a good potency level. I can't (I really can't) tell the difference between any of our auto's and a traditional variety in a blind vape test. So one really important comment that I would make is to ignore any supposed link between ruderalis content and final potency. I can understand why people might make that link, but there is more to it that that.

I can't make any comments on auto's from other breeders. But in terms of the Dutch Passion range they are all bred to the same high standards and result in similarly top quality pot. That is the reason that we have eg PolarLights #3, we have upgraded the breeding process and genetics so that all our auto's meet the same high standards as those of our 'headline' auto's (Think Different, AutoMazar...). Once we know how to improve the quality level of an auto, even if it is just a small improvement, we make the improvement and the name will reflect that (PolarLights #2 ---> PolarLights #3, for example).

StarRyder is sativa dominant but not exclusively so, but as with all auto's, you get a genetic spread around the 'average'. So StarRyder, for example, will occasionally throw out a Pineapple scented pheno which has a stronger sativa-leaning to it, and this pheno may take another 7-10 days beyond the average and with thin sativa leaves. Likewise, you will see some shorter, squatter pheno's that have more of an indica appearance despite the fact that the variety is, on average, a sativa-dominant one.

I hope that helps !

Oh yeah you tha man Brother DutchpassionTony! That clears a ton of stuff up.Thats why I bought Think diff. cuase as the write up said when it first came about or to my knowledge last year and I thought wow,now thats IS thinking different.LOL!Thanks!!
