Space is limited so I have a single grow box.
My plan is to start one Auto White Widow, spray colloidal silver on some of it and have it pollinate another WW Auto. My question is should I start the pollinator plant a bit earlier?
I want to do the same with some Thai Photos but it seems like they'll need to start at the same time because of the light switching thing.

U want to start reversed plant a few weeks before the target females. It will still work if started together but you'll have to keep the seeded plant longer and get fewer seeds. I'm still playing with pollen chucking and learning but that's the jist of it as I take it.

Thanks for the reply.
My WW (the potential pollinator) had a slow start so I'm going to stagger the bean bearer 5 weeks then.

You will want to spray the entire plant very well every time you spray. You may not be happy with the results if you do not. Five weeks is a bit long to start the target plant, more like 3 weeks in my experience.

Wishing you all the best with your fem project.

Peace

Have fun with the project!
Look at this beary white haul, sadly 80% of the buds/seeds were lost to mold but still managed to get enough to make it worthwhile.

The beary white X fantasmo was a complete loss unfortunately.

I hate when that happens. I live in a humid climate so mold is a battle. Right at the 10 week mark I have to keep a real keen eye. You got a nice haul of beans. I hope you're going to store them properly. Just planted the seed bearer but the pollinator is still only 2.5 cm after 3 weeks. very dense 5 sets of leaves though.

UPDATE: Well that didn't work out. After nearly 14 weeks the pollen producer managed to grow to a whopping 20cm with dry sacks(no pollen). The other girl, at 11 weeks, is lanky and maturing. Just plain bad luck I guess.
