can i pick your brain about your thoughts behind letting them stretch up i like to do this with auto flowers but when im growing photo periods i tend to leave the light high for the first two weeks of flower then drop it down as close as i can to try get the plants to stack up bud sites

I usually leave the light at the highest it’ll go through the whole flowering period but seeing that these are sativas I know they’re gonna stretch like crazy. So by keeping the light lower they won’t fighting so much too move closer to the light during the vigour stretch period, plus it makes it easier to me too fill the screen when doing this. If I hadn’t have done this I think I would have filled about 60-70% of my head room already. Also, bare in mind that I gave these girls quite a longer veg time by sativa standards and DWC standards.
Once the buds are established I will lift the up higher.

I usually leave the light at the highest it’ll go through the whole flowering period but seeing that these are sativas I know they’re gonna stretch like crazy. So by keeping the light lower they won’t fighting so much too move closer to the light during the vigour stretch period, plus it makes it easier to me too fill the screen when doing this. I’ve decided to change the thread marks to days instead of week too maintain accuracy with my entries.

the girls are still stretching but they do seem too have slowed down. Bud develop is occurring on all the ladies but the pineapple poison looks like they’re two weeks in front of the others! These are gonna be quick in finishing. Maybe a true 8 week strain? The other are developing like more like typical sativas in terms of developing buds but I am quite surprised at the way they look. Fat fan leaves and limited stretch, somewhat normal to more indica dominant strains. Not that I’m complaining, I am aware that the lineage of the lemon OG is more sativa dom but I was expecting the kosher haze too have more of indica look. The bulbs have now been risen but I’ve left scope for a little more head room should I decide to raise the bulbs any higher. I have decided too use my supplement 315cmh but rhis will be used once more bud sites have developed on the plants.

the SMSF and TNT are now under my mars tsl2000 and will be potted up into the dwc in a few days
