Why you running the Sat as well?I have a Netgear Orbi wifi network. One base coming off my the lan of my provider's router and one satellite. It gives me full coverage in the house and even out to my shop next to the house. Great system that is very simple to set up and maintain. At the time, it had new tech to keep down latency and no choke points. I don't remember it's technical term, but it works well. I game in the bedroom on my PS4 and I Don't have a problem with staying connected, lag or latency.
It gives you two separate networks based on frequency and a guest network. There's also a phone app that works very well and you have full control of the network without having to go to a computer.
I have nothing on the crappy wifi network from my isp router.
I highly recommend it after 5 yrs of pretty much flawless operation. I just looked and they still make them and have expanded the line. I'm sure there have been improvements since then. It's a VERY secure system also.
If you're just relying on your ISP's route and wifi system, one of these Orbi systems should eliminate your issues. They reset themselves after a power outage without any input from you.
edit...........the tech term is a Mesh network that you want to look for.
